After the incident of kite flying, Ahem saw Gopi in the Kitchen when his mom was scolding Rashi , after that he saw her walking towards the dining table with worry on her face & he wanted to just talk to her. He knew the only place he will get her attention completely was in their room & hence he took her away from the family on the pre-text of not finding a file. He did not leave the decision to her or his mom...he clearly told Gopi to come along with him & search & give him the file. He knew if it were any other reason his mom would not have been ok with it, so he played his cards well to ensure that nobody could obstruct them going away because it was related to office & work . It is clear he wanted to speak to her...and nothing stopped him. When he moved away from the terrace he did not stop even when she called him...was he scared of his anger then & did he want to take time to calm down & talk to her.
In the room he hardly glanced at the file they had come searching for & asked her what happened down, he listened to her when she explained about the pigeon, Rashi & Kokilla. When she explained that it was not Rashi's fault, he tried reasoning with her saying that Rashi was wrong...he knew she liked the pigeon & would not want to leave the bird in the current state but he knew he could not fulfill her wish & hence he could not meet her eyes & told her that since his mom does not like it, they cannot keep the bird for long. When he saw her worried he immediately reassured her that together they will think something about it...it can be a big thing like a kidnapping or a another thing like a pigeon, whatever it may be he cannot see her worrying...he takes the responsibility of the anything which worries her & puts her at peace...
When she apologised to him for the kite incident ...he brushed it aside...and went ahead & explained his stand...why did it matter to him that she knows him? She would have still respected him even if he did not explain himself...she would not even have questioned him...but he did explain himself for her...was it the 1st time that he expressed his feelings to her...does he want her to know the real him, his thoughts, his behavior...did he want her to know that he did not mind winning or losing if she was with him...did he want her to know that behind the tough exterior he is a peaceful person as she is & that his thoughts & feelings are not different from hers...he proved that once during diwali when he did not want to burst the crackers, believed & implemented her opinion & today he did the samething again !!! He seems to have realised that her opinion matters to him & he is taking everything in his control to ensure she knows that he enjoys following her opinions...even without her knowledge she is inspiring him to follow her 😉
At lunch, with the pigeon making the noises, he realised that what they were trying to hide would come out...with Rashi & Jigar not being able to convince his mom & his mom not ready to give up...he knew that Gopi would be worried & one look at her he knew that...he immediately took it on to himself to get the situation in control...he diverted his mom's thoughts from the bird to Kinjle & it did work...Jigar was also suprised that Ahem took it on to himself to defuse the situation...
Both Ahem & Gopi were a party to see Rashi & Jigar playing with the pigeon...they saw Jigar apologising to Rashi, they talking with each other, playing with the pigeon & holding hands to transfer the pigeon one from another...Ahem knew Gopi would happy & he immediately looked at her...he saw her happy & both acknowledged to each other that things were finally moving for Rashi & Jigar...
But looking at the other couple, did Ahem for a second have a look which said that he also hoped that they would become comfortable like the couple in front of them...that they can also move close to each other & that their relationship can also move forward??? He recognised the need of privacy for Jigar & Rashi , does he also want some close special time with Gopi with no one else disturbing them ???
