I know I said wedding masti is gonna come in this update but then I thought we specially we girls enjoy the shopping session r8?? so wedding ko thoda postponed kiya.. hope u like it

Part 7: Action and Reaction of Window Shopping

Maan reached the marriage register office and wait for Pratham da. Pratham was Adi's cousin, senior in Maan's school and college. Maan never understood why Uncle Unty choose this name for Pratham as he was the only son of them. He would think may be after getting some one like Pratham da as their son they dropped their idea of having second or third one. Pratham Da was one of the naughtiest boys in school and thus he was inspiration of Maan. But after school there was a chance of loosing his popularity .. no nothing was wrong with Pratham Da ' he was goodlooking and smart but his weird name, but Ekta Kapoor saved him. Actually in his 1^st year of college a tv show became popular whose lead character's name as Pratham' who was the heart throb of young girls then. Fortunately girls found similarities in both Prathams ' some felt he looks like that hero, some felt their smile is same and many more.

After academic session Pratham Da became a journo and started his career with a big sixer. He did some sting operation in some Government office ' where he showed the condition of Gov employees. In a Gov office he took shots of sleeping employees, yawning workers, even bribe taking officers too. After the story was out on TV Pratham's show became an instant hit and he came in hit list of Mr. Mitra, the head officer of that office. He wanted to kill Pratham but his high bp problem saved Pratham. But seeing Dad's poor condition Gauri thought to take the matter on her hand and she went to Pratham to give her a lecture. Well Gauri was temporary lecturer then. After a long boring lecture of her Pratham discovered he is in love with Gauri and within one month Gauri also realized the same.

Maan thought it will be a 'bhagke shadi case' ' there will be lots of action and drama like hindi films in Prathada n Gauri boudi's love story ' he with his whole group was ready for that but alas, some days ago they came to know Gauri Boudi's dad agreed and that too in first place. Maan guessed may be Gauri's dad was happy at least his daughter want to marry some one else he thought she will do only one job in rest of her life' teaching 'ong bong chong' to her students. Oh me forget to say Gauri is a professor of Sanskrit. Only two weeks are left for their wedding '. Then what happened suddenly that Pratham Da is going for this secret registry marriage!! Maan wondered.

Maan came here bunking his office, lieing his friends. Only Adi knew the truth. He was waiting for Pratham Da and was trying to make out the things when he saw Pratam is waving his hands. Gauri was with him.

Maan: what happened? Any problem? Why this registry marriage all of a sudden.

Gaurti: Kuch nahi tumhare Pratham Da ko simple chizo se allergy hai na issliye.

She said in a grumpy face.

Pratham: arre its all because of Gauri's dad. We never thought he will agree so easily so we decided to keep an option. We applied for this before one month then went to talk to him. But he agreed and registry office ki notification bhi aa gayi. Wo kehte hai na dene wala jab bhi deta ' deta chappar pharke[it always became true in case of Pratham]. Now if I cancel the booking we wont get the money back what we have deposited while applying.. or waise bhi shadi register to karwani padhegi' we have to deposit the same amount again to dawal kharch you know.

Maan got it. "ok but you could have do this informing everyone.. why this hide and seak?"

Gauri: apni shadi ko bhi ye apni sting operation ki tarh adventourous banana chahte hai.

Maan: but where is the other other withness Boudi?"

Gauri: She will come soon. Lets go insede.

They went inside the registry office. They had 30 munites in their hands. They started doing chit chat. Time passed and now Gauri is doing tension as her witness has not reached till now. She called her but there was just one reply ' on my way' coming ' abhi pouch rahi hu. It was their turn. Gauri was sad. Maan and Pratham arraged a witness ' well in India where unemployment is a big issue doing such arrangement is not difficult' chalo aise hi sahi Govonment kisike kaam to aye.

Prahtha Gauri went inside the room with Maan and the readymade witness. They did all important signatures. Maan gave his signature in witness' place. Another witness was going to sign it when someone entered and snatched the pen from his hand, "its my task and I will do it only" she said and signed without looking at anyone else. Everybody was dazzeled with her entry. Maan was shocked to see Geet. He least expected her.

"ho gaya' sorry I am late' but at least I didn't miss it." Geet said everything with a big smile and then looked at them. "Congo Gauri di ' Congoo jamaibabu(jijaji)." She hugged them and then only discovered Maan is also standing there.

Geet: Maan ' what are you doing here.

Maan: Same thing you are here for ' giving autograph.

Geet turned at Pratham: is he your witness?

Though she asked but didn't wait for the answer coz she understood everything by now. "And he?" Geet turned at another witness. He was sad sh he understood they don't need him now so he is not gonna have his money he has expected.

Pratham at him: O bhahiya where are you going? You came here to be witness na ' so you are my guest.. sign here as another witness.

The man was happy' it can be seen on his face. He signed' then the photo sesson took place. They bid good bye to the false witness with a decent amout and lots of Rasogollas.

They went to a restaurant ' it was Pratham's treat time. 1^st there was a confusion on what to order. Guys setteled down everything and ladies started their chit chat.

Gauri: why you came so late?

Geet: Arre ready hone me thoda time lag gayi' waise your dress is too good' mera bhi naya hai' how's it?"

Gauri: arre I was going to ask' kahase kharidi its awesome ' kitne me kharidi?"

Guys looked at them silently. They felt really weird ' how girls can talk about shopping with so much enthucisism everytime' they thought. They even can remember all the bergainings and exact rates shop keepers has offered and everything. They sighed and started to talk about cricket. They were discussing the lates India Aussy test serize seriously when geet inturrepeted.

Geet: What are you guys discussing about cricket? Uff boring. Hei gauri di have you seen Shane Watson of Austalia ' he is damn handsome ' mai to totally fida on him.

Gauri: I stopped watching Cricket after Dada left the team but yaah Watson is really handsome. But I like Bret Lee more.

Geet: Yaah Bret Lee is too cute but Watson is classic handsome.

Maan was listening all this with an open mouth. Now what is the difference between cute guy and classic handsome ... he wasn't able to understand this classification. Pratham noticed his reaction and smiled.

Pratham: Leave it Maan ... don't even try to understand this girly talk... ye humari bass ki baat nahi' they don't watch Cricket they watch Cricketers and they made such kindda catagories that is out of our understanding ... so better we stay away from it.

Maan still couldn't stop himself from listening Geet. He did his launch silently thinking in which category Geet actually puts him' He knows he is good looking but this cute or classic category ...damn confusing. Maan kept on stealing glances of Geet and listened carefully to her detail research on different types of handsome people' which only made him more confused.

After the lunch they decided to go for a movieThey decided to watch a Bengali movie 'Royal Bengal Rahasya' '. This is a movie based on all bong's favorite Detective novel by great Satyajit Rey. They went to multiplex, have their tickets. They had almost two hours left to start the show. So girls decided they will do some window shopping.. "Only window shopping no shopping" they promised themselves.

They four were moving through the market. Girls were stopping by almost every store. Today Maan discovered one truth its easier to move a vehicle in tafic jam in Kolkata than to move with a girl in an vacant market. Maan and Pratham were a few steps ahead than the girls when Geet shouted.

Geet: hei guys why you two are running ' come here.. we are entering that shoe store.

It was enough to make guys frightened. They entered the store where Gauri already has started trying a shoe.

Pratham: why are you trying shoe now. Abhi bhi shadi ki sari khareed na baki hai na' we will buy shoe after buying sari' matching bhi to hona chahiye na.

Pratham tried to stop Gauri in this way. But his tricks didn't work.

Geet: Jamaibabu you don't have to worry ..arre red Benarasi [name of a special sari] hi to pehnenge na. Hum soch samajh ke hi kharidenge. Or agar match na kare we will exchange it' change to hote hai na yahan??

The last question was for the store keeper. He nodded positively with a grin.

Geet to gauri: Di I think this shoe is better... more gorgeous

Gauri: but I think it suits on my feet

Geet: Di try this one ' I think it will look good on you.

For next thirtee munites Gauri tried various shoes, then selected some with the help of Geet. Then wore them .. did a cat walk session to feel which is more comfortable ' then did a long discussion with Geet which one is better... asked the store keeper how hardy these shoes are for ten times .. then bought one pair and about to move from the store when Geet liked another pair. She tried it loved it then said, " rehne do ... it won't go well with traditional attire ' waise bhi I have to buy a shoe for your wedding to isse rehne do."

Gauri: arre so what ' you can wear it sometime later.

Geet: umm yah ' phir bhi jane dijiye.

They came out of the store. After sometime Geet said, " I think I really liked that pair of shoe' I must buy them." Geet went back to the store Gauri let Pratham hold the packet and went with her. Maan and Pratham waited for them .. Least they knew what is waiting for them. After some time when girls didn't come they started searching them and found them in a bag store.

Geet to the store keeper: No not this red ' its too dark show something light.

Gauri: show me that tomato red one.

The shop keeper brings out all the red bags they had. Maan and Pratham entered.

Geet: oh thank God you guys came... now help us to chosse one shade.

Maan: shade but all are same.. all are red.

Geet: huh Maan ... you are a painter and you are saying this .. see it is vermilion red.. its crimson and its scarlet .. now choose one.. jamaibabau you can also choose.

Poor Maan and Pratham looked at each other' they were going to say something when Gauri saved them, "aree arre show me that one' yah that golden one' yah its too good' I am taking this one."

Pratham: but it won't match with your red sari.

Gauri: so what ... it will be a contrast ... and contrast is good

"contrast is good" this same line Pratham said in a cosmetic shop while choosing leap gloss he chose a brown lip gloss for her red sari and Gauri became angry on him. Maan and Geet were standing behind them. Both couldn't stop laughing.

Maan: do you girls have different rules for different things.

Geet: Umm .. aise rules nahi hote' its about right choice.

Maan: hmm it's quite difficult I think.[Maan looked at Pratham who was coming with lots of packets in his hands. He indicated the packets] Geet tell me one thing if this is window shopping then what is real shopping huh?

Geet: Don't even try to know it.. it can be a huge risk for you

They laughed again. After that everybody went for the movie. They enjoyed the movie the only problem was that Maan and Geet remembered every line of the story as they have read it for many times. They both wanted to show who remember more... so they started saying the dialogue before it come on the screen and thus irritated others like hell.

The movie ended and everybody started leaving the hall. Pratham and Gauri was a little bit ahead of Maan and Geet. They were discussing the movie when Maan discovered Dev, Dev(2), Samrat, Mayank and Adi are taking the exit. The 1^st thing came into his mind that he is left with Geet and if they see him with her.. they will think he has bunked office to watch a movie with her ' he won't be able to disclose the truth about Pratham da' he didn't think twice and hold Geet's wrist and dragged her with him and hide behind a sit.

Geet(shocked) : what happened?

Maan: Samrat Dev mayank.. all my friends are here

Geet: haan to?

Maan: If they see me with you they will assume something wrong.. try to understand.. I can't even tell them the truth

Geet: arre to mujhe chupne ko kyun keh rahe ho? If they see me alone they won't assume anything na?

Geet was right. Maan didn't think in that way. But now whats done is done.

Maan: haan but ab jab galti ho gayi to chillao mat. Tum bohot zada bolti ho.

Geet : who me? [she laughed a lot] or tum apne dosto se bot zada darrte ho'

Maan: not at all.. they are afraid of me

Geet: darpok darpok.. Maan Singh Khurana is afraid of his friends

Maan having no other option shut her mouth with his hand. Geet looked at his dark eyes.. they were looking so beautiful in faint light. Maan looked deeply in her eyes. This cinema hall is witness of many lip locks on screen and off screen but this eye lock was definitely better than all of them. After some time they broke the trance. The hall was emty by now. Geet stood up and was about to leave but Maan stopped her.

Maan: Geet wo I wanted to ask you something.

Geet: what?

Maan: today you were discussing abouth some category .. like cute looking guy, classic looking guy, hot looking guy, gentle man ..well umm if you have to put me any of these categories then in which you will put me.

Geet looked at him.. first she smirked then laughed really loud' "you know there is only one category for you' SADU category.. samjhe." Maan joind her in her laughter.
