17th Jan 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Kopal and Pari's haldi being done, back at Bharti's there's a pooja going on, jasmine and Rimjim are asked to the thread on the boys, Chimti laughs about tying it so tight that they don't come loose, their wives will be stuck to them for life. Jasmine asks for some money from Aditya, but Bharti said there's something better than money, she open two boxes containing gold rings, she tells the boys to give them to their sisters. Jasmine asks where's her husbands, Bharti says let him come and she herself will place a gold chain on him, jasmine laughs and says don't worry he will be here soon, the work he went to do, is complete, he will take me home soon, everyone smiles. The boy's haldi rasam begins; Dhamroo too places it on the boys (lool! Just like on Murli! Aww!!)

Vehaan is in his room sitting in a chair with his diary, he is thinking about what Chimti said about the thread, he is smiling at his wrist, he then thinks back to all the times with Rimjim, the shawl, the mandhir, when he went to her house, and when she told him she agreed to the marriage herself, and yday when they saw each other. He writes in his diary about life giving him a new beginning something he never thought he would have, a stranger would come willingly and understand things without being told. Aditya comes in and grabs the diary from him, Aditya says what are u smiling about and writing in this diary, Vehaan says to give him the diary, Aditya says I wont give it back till I have read it, but Vehaan raises his voice louder and says to give it. Aditya realises he's being serious and gives it to him, he says I know I have still not been forgiven so I wont make u more angry. Vehaan puts his diary down and says that's not the problem, I am worried about ur future, marriage is a new beginning with new responsibilities, today u can go and hurt mum like u did in the future u will do the same to Pari. A girl comes with a lot of trust into a new home, this trust shouldn't be broken. Aditya says lets sit and talk, he says trust me I wont break anyone's trust, I am becoming responsible. Vehaan says if u are becoming responsible, then why haven't u been to work for a couple of days? Aditya says with the wedding and honeymoon stuff, how am I meant to go work, u should take come time off too. Aditya says I promise I will become responsible and hugs Vehaan, Vehaans face doesn't look like he believes him.

At the Shrivastav house, they are cooking, Bharti walks in with Chimti, and jasmine, Pradeep goes to greet them and brings them in. Manju and dadi come and greet, Bharti apologises for not phoning beforehand, but Manju says it's her house she's welcome anytime. Manju calls the girls; they come and seek blessings from Bharti and Chimti. Bharti says I have brought the shughan chuni, she takes them out and hands them to the girls. Bharti tells them to wear it during the jailmala, it's a tradition, Pari is looking back at another chunni, Bharti picks it up and says girls u are both equal in my eyes, but Murli ji had especially brought this for his eldest DIL, that's why I am giving it to Kopal to wear, Pari gets angry. Bharti tells the girls to sit down and she places the chunnis on the girls, Pari is looking at Kopal giving her evils whilst Bharti is putting special chunni on Kopal, Manju says its looks beautiful the chunni, and that its even more special as it is a blessing from her FIL. Pari looks back and sees the diyas lit behind Kopal and grabs the chunni from the corner and places it on the diya.

Bharti says to Pari, I know there's no jealousy between sister, but still I feel I should say it, u are both equal, but Murli ji didn't know he was going to have another son, otherwise he would have brought two, but I promise, I will buy u another chunni just like this one. Murli ji had brought this so lovingly for his future DIL, he didn't know he wouldn't be here to bless the girls himself. Bharti is emotional.

Pari starts to scream, fire Kopal fire, and she grabs the chunni and tries to put the fire out by kicking it, everyone is shocked, Bharti is upset. The chunni is burnt and Pari smiles, whereas Bharti is really upset, she walks over to it and lifts it, looking at it, she sees its ruined, Pari gets on her knees and says forgive me, I had to save Kopal, I had to try to put the fire out, please don't be angry, here take my chunni and give it to Kopal, she's the eldest DIL, I can use any chunni, all I need is blessings right, Pari goes and hugs Kopal and asks if she's ok. Bharti says thank God nothing happened to Kopal, Bharti says we should go now, Kopal can see Bharti upset, she stops Bharti from going and says I will still wear this chunni, I promise u I will make this all new, as I know how important this chunni is to u. Pari looks all pissed off as her plan didn't work so well. Bharti says u have once again proven to me that I have made the right choice in making u my eldest DIL, she walks to Kopals parents and says thank u for bringing such a wonderful girl into our lives, and thank u for giving her to me for my Vehaan. The family walk Bharti out.

Pari storms of to her room and starts screaming and throwing things around, she screams no-one cares about me, and then she flashbacks to when Bharti took the necklace of her and handed it to Kopal, when Vehaan sent Kopal a present, and when the chunni was given to Kopal, and how Kopal said she will wear the chunni still.

Pari grabs her chunni off the bed and puts it on her head, she walks over to the mirror and says Kopal u eagerly want to become a bride, well I wont let it happen, there will only be one dholi leaving this house, and that's mine, and mine only! You're little, and u will always stay little, don't try and be bigger than me. Epi ends on her evil face!
