Part 5
Radhika left down along with Pari. Radhika while coming down looked at Dev. He was wearing a cream colour kurta which had some bead work with a clean shaved face. Radhika lost at him. Dev turned back feeling some eyes on him. He saw Radhika looking at him. He gave back a smile to her. Radhika came back to the world and smiled to him.
Radhika entered into the car and sat in the back along with Chaya and Pari. Hari sat in front seat along with Dev who was in driving seat. Radhika was looking at front to get a glimpse of him, she was unable to control her looks. In order to make her self control she turned to the side and started to see out.
They reached the temple. All went in Chaya and Radhika stopped at a stal to get the pooja thali .Radhika smiled at Chaya and they both went in . Chaya found it difficulty in climbing the steps. Radhika who was moving in front faster stopped to help her and gave her hand to hold while she was climbing the steps. Chaya climbed the steps carefulyl and they both went in and joined Hari and Dev.
Radhika went around the temple to do rounds and came and joined them giving the Thali to the Pandit ji. Pandit ji smiled seeing Radhika as she comes there every week and took the thali and did the pooja, as he was used to the names she say him,
Radhika kept the pallu on her head and closed her eyes praying the god. She was beside Chaya, followed by Pari dev and Hari. Pandit ji came out and gave the Thali to her. Radhika smiled and took it from Pandit ji. Radhika started to roam around the temple as the pooja of Dev's family is going to be late.
Hari and Chaya sat at the havan they used to do on Dev's b'day along with dev,pari and Nandu/. Pari was feeling all tensed because of her exam tomorrow and she was asking her mom how much time will it last. Chaya thought it would be good if pari go
es to home. But she was wondering with whom she will send her. At that time only Radhika came asking Chaya "Aunty, Main ghar jaavungi."(I will leave home)
Chaya got an idea and she asked Radhika "Radhika , If u don't mind please take pari also, she had some exam and she had to study"
Radhika agreed and took her along. Chaya tried to give the key to Pari for which Radhika said "She will be with me aunty and they both left by auto rickshaw"
Radhika after coming to home said Pari to sit in the living room and she went to bring some snacks to her.
Pari who was bored of sitting stood and turned around the hall and started to look the photos hanged there.
Radhika came out with some fries in her hand and saw Pari seeing the photos of her and her mom hanged there.
Radhika smiled and went to her and gave her the fries asking "Kya kar rahi ho"
Pari who was ordinalrily reserved says "Nothing didi, I am just watching those photos"
Radhika:"Hhaha why that much scared, No problem U can watch them, and haan wo meri mom hain"
Pari:Didi u were completely into ur mom
Radhika came and stood behind Pari seeing at that pictures on the wall "Haan I am completely into her"
Seeing Radhika getting emotional Pari to normalize "Didi, mujhe aur photos dekhna hain. Please dikha do na"
Radhika came and giving her the albums from shelf told her to see them and went inside to change
Radhika chaged nto a pink colour top and black colour capri came and sat beside her .
Ammaji just then came form shop and seeing Radhika asked "Haan aagaya tum. Kitni samay huvi Radhu"(when did u come)
Radhika:Amma hum abhi abhi aaya tha. Pari ka exam hain na, isliye vo bhi mere saah aagayi, aunty aur sir pooja mein baithe the(Yeah we just arrived, adn as Pari has exam she too came with me, and sir sat for some havan)
Ammaji nodded her head and asked Radhika:Radhu Diya nahi jalogi
Radhika:Haan amma , lekin abhi 7:00 hi hain na, thodi samay hain
Ammaji nodded and she went into kitchen to do food
Radhika went beside her and giving her the prasad asked "Aaj kya banavogi khane mein"
AMmaji;Kuch nahi, shanthi bhi ye bola ki vo kuch nahi khayegi, toh sirf mere liye na, do pulka banogi bas.
Radhika nodded her head and came into the hall and saw Pari seeing some album, Radhika unable to recognise which album it was went beside her and sat there watching the album. It was her schooling album, where she had all her class mates
Pari:Didi, aapko in mein se koun koun yaad hain
Radhika went into that album and saw their new year celebrations, there she was in a violet-yellow anarkhali standing to one side of principal, and the other side was Dev she lost into that day
That day...
Dev and Radhika were prime organisers of the event. Radhika was busy in doing the decoration to their class room along with her friends, while Dev and his friends were busy in collecting money and getting things from out. The Principal sir came and called Radhika and Dev to invite the guests for their function. At first they went to the dean of their school to invite him to their sections celebrations. Dev was hesitant in starting , Radhika stood there looking at Dev to start, but he wasn't starting at all. Radhika was vexed and she went forward asking the Dean sir to attend to their sections celebrations. She reminded of Dev's face then, and busted into laugh.
Pari seeing Radhika laughing was perplexed with what happened and called her "Radhika didi"
Radhika came into world and seeing her surroundings looked at Pari who was with a questioning eyes and said "nothing kuch yaad aaya"
Radhika and Pari started to turn around the albums and Pari showed her a picture which was with her and Nandu. and Radhika said 'Ye photo. When was it taken"
Pari:"Didi, we all came to that conference along with dad na, then we got this photo clicked with u"
Radhika nodded her head with a smile and was trying to recollect the things. They truned into some more photos and Pari took her books from the bag and started to read, while Radhika went out to light the diyas. After lighting out Radhika went into her room and lighted the diyas there as well.
After some time Harinath and family came and Pari biddin bye to Radhika and Ammaji went along with them.
As it was already 10:00 Ammaji went to bed mumbling abt Shanthi and Radhika sat there in the sofa waiting for her chachi.
Radhika waiting there left into sleep and Dev came out to get some good air and cameto go to steps. On the way he saw Radhika sleeping there in the comfy. Dev smiles and goes to her thinking 'Ye pagli ko yaha sone ki kya jaroorat thi"
He went near her and see her getting irritated with some thing. Dev frown and see her hair falling on her eyes. Dev silently takes those hair tufts and keep her behind her ear.
He sat there and started to admire her beauty.
He saw at her serene face which was without any pollution and thought to himself 'Oh my god. how does I miss this face these many years. Haan. When u were behind me, I never recognised u, today when I am ready to take u all into me, u was not even in a position to recognise me"
He hear the lift sound near their floor and not knowing what to do he went and stood behind the door.
Shanthi came in and seeing Radhika sleeping there mumbled to her self "This girl na,how many times I say her to not to stop for me, she ont listen and end up sleeping like this. Shanthi kept her bag aside and touched Radhika waking her up
"Radhu Radhu"
Radhika wake up with a sudden jerk and sa Shanthi standing there. Rubbing her eyes "Chavhi kitni samay huva aap aake"(when did u come)
ShanthI:Abhi abhi aaya, Tujhe kitni baar bolna hain ki yaha mat sovu.(now only,., how many times shall i say u not to sleep like this)
Dev who was waiting for a chance silently slides out and goes back to hsi room.
Radhika had some sort of discussion with Shanthi and after that left to her room. By the time Dev was already with the side of window offing the lights. Radhika opened those windows and the beautiful moon light was falling on her giving the extra glow to that face. Her hair was blowing with the wind and her plain face with out any jewellery or bindi was giving a pleasant beautiful reveal of her beauty.
Radhika was smiling looking at that moon enjoying the game of moon played with stars and clouds.She sat on that porch at the window and started to write her diary. all the way Dev was looking at Radhika only . He was smiling seeing her and was trying to read expressions on her face which was changing with the words she was writing on that diary/ Suddenly she broke into tears and Dev got worried. He looked at her and not knowing what to do, went to the music system and kept the cd .It started playng "Kya rang laayi teri duah " from kuch kuch hota hain film.
Radhika lift her head and rubbing off her tears looked at the window of Dev's room, to find the music was coming out from there. She doesn't know why but she started to remind her dream when she was sleeping. "She felt like Dev came to her sat beside her and was saying her I wanna take u all into me. and later he was touching her eyes and keeping her hair behind. "
She smiled to her self reminding that dream and left to bed closing that diary to get into her sweet dreams.
Dev was happy to get back that smile on Radh's face and he too went to his bed, and lost into his dreams hugging that pillow tight.
