Juhi Parmar won the reality show and this came as no big surprise.

The Chinese whispers had been doing the rounds for the last couple of weeks. In fact, people were openly mentioning Juhi's name on Twitter. We don't know whether Juhi was the most popular contestant cos these so-called audience votes can be a farcical exercise.

Finally, it's a call that the channel and production house jointly take. To be fair to Juhi, she played the game cleverly and had clearly learned from her previous experience in Pati, Patni aur Woh — where her onscreen image took a severe beating with her temper tantrums. Many viewers found her sweetness rather fake in BB but in the scripted world of reality shows, it's all about faking the right act.

The one person who seemed ecstatic with this victory was Sky. No, he is not in love with Juhi but hates Mahek with a vengeance. His wicked glee was obvious as he hugged and lifted Juhi up in the air. Mahek's cocky attitude proved to be her downfall. Perhaps she was hoping that her friendship with Salman would work in her favour.

There were enough clues given to her to make it clear that she didn't stand a chance. Right at the onset Sanju told her that she was in for a big surprise. Mahek's boyfriend of four years, Danish Khan landed on the sets from Norway and went down on his knees to propose to his girlfriend. Mahek, though didn't look surprised or thrilled for that matter.

The poor guy had to request her to make up her mind. An indifferent Mahek asked him to get up and accepted the ring even as she walked up to Sallu and hugged him. We wonder whether Sallu had ganged up with the channel to bring Danish down and get Mahek off his back. As for desperate Danish, one can only hope and pray that the engagement lasts longer than the reality show.

Bhaijaan and bhai's chemistry is fabulous and they were in their elements as they chatted with the evicted participants and the inmates. Sallu ensured that he got Pooja Mishra and Rakhi Sawant to clarify their remarks that revolved around him. Clearly, the ladies were more than willing to bend backwards to please this actor. Rakhi in fact, begged the actors to offer her a role and Sallu cleverly promised her on Sanju's behalf. Poor Sanju had no choice but to concede to this promise.

But the one lady who Salman treated with utmost respect was Malaika who was asked to name the person she hated on the show and when Malaika hesitated, like a typical don, he asked her not to worry saying that he was around to take care of her.

Needless to say Malaika mentioned Sky. And once his question was answered, he very firmly told Malaika to go back to Arbaaz as he was waiting for her. Wonder what was the reason behind this veiled threat? Sallu can be quite the don can't he? But to be fair to him, he bratty behaviour makes this otherwise show a watchable experience. And it was finally curtains down for BB 5.
