I didn't know they have a dog and I went over there because it was her b-day - I didn't want to be rude... plus I lost my granny so I don't feel like going out that much other than work and basic needs.. Well I listen to my mother and went over, but it turn out to be killer... And the phobia of mine against dogs killed me. 😭 and they were making fun of my phobia - by bring it toward me. I had to ask one of my friend to help me out by calling me...

And now when I am at home the phobia of mine is killing me inside.. I feel everything is coming onto me. Its making me sick inside that I wanna throw up..

Why are people so cruel and mean? Why?

I know it hurts when people don't or cant' see how afraid you are, but please don't hurt yourself more by being angry with them or hating them.

People have no imagination I guess. Tehy're scared of many things but they can't imagine why people are scared of the things they are. People who're scared of lizards won't understand people who're afraid of rats - they can't imagine WHY you are scared.

And sometimes, in a crowd, people can be cruel without thinking because the majority is laughing, they don't see the pain of one person. But just forget it - don't add to your phobia by being even more unhappy and scared.

Pray, if that suits you! 😊 God bless

You are going through a bereavement which is never easy so things/phobias become magnified. Time will heal the pain of losing your grandmother. But your phobia, that may need further intervention. Have you asked for counselling for that. It worked for one of my family members and he has no problem with dogs now.

I think some traits are apart of your genes - also my mother is afraid of dogs and I think I got that from her... its the worst Phobia I have and yet - its hard to share.

I would definitely reccommend counselling. Your mother was afraid of dogs and thereby instilled the fear in you. It is not neccessarily in your genes. Trust me, counselling does work. X xx
