But on a positive note Indu has a certain likeability to him. After all he is not as roothless as Prabal. He wasn't planning to kill the guy. He only tied him up and left him. Indu is also very boyish in his crush on Saanchi. It almost seems he wants to move beyond politics and live a normal life. I wish they would reveal more about his background so we have a better understanding of his actions. So far he seems fearless. He was more sentimental about Saanchi informing him than concerned about news of the attack.
As for Saanchi, she tells Mahek that people aren't what they appear. That is pretty naive. Most people are almost always as they appear. Why would the general public disguise themselves. Also doesn't she realize she got the scholarship by means of crooked method rather than Merritt? After all she asked a gang leader for help in a shady tea tent setting. Hardly an office for the student council. I find her being so sure of her naive views flawed in her character. Instead she goes home and tells her dad how she needs to correct Maheks thinking. Does she think her thoughts are more righteous than others? That's very judgemental of her. Mahek intact appears to be streets art and warned her not to get involved in gang politics. There should be some limits to seeing the world thru rose colored glasses. Infact she is constantly shown to dig her own grave on many issues due to nativity only to be saved not by her smarts but by mere coincidences that fall on her lap.
But alas I do find the story interesting and the characters like able. Indu's character steals the screen. Love that power in an actor. He is filling a tough role with lots of unique character traits and gestures. Great show thus far. I hope it keeps moving. Can't wait to see how Prabal plans to welcome Saanchi I the dirty world of campus politics.
