Sandhya hid the truth about her education so she can marry the great Santosh Rathi's halwai son! C'mmon Bhabho, have some common sense. Why would any twice as educated girl in her full senses marry your son. Its not like she came to your house empty handed either that should make you think she married to get out of the financial troubles. Apart from all the jewelry and gifts she even got a fat Fixed Deposit that you declined when she herself offered to you. So what is it that you lost that she gained by this marriage.
In fact, your DIL tried every bit to adjust and succumb to all the nonsense you and your other family members gave her. If you think as an elder you can punish your kids for their mistakes, then you must also act like an adult by being responsible. You throwing a teenage girl out of your house is not what any adult seeking respect would do. You would have been better off calling her brother and the match maker. You ought to discuss it with your husband and son who are also the most integral part of this relationship.
Agreed you only wanted a 7th pass girl for your bahu so she can do all chores and give you a potha. We all empathize with you for being deceived. All the empathy you gained is lost by your erratic behavior starting from yelling at the media, throwing Sandhya out, making her write the nonsense letter and making it read by your idiotic daughter(oh you still don't know that, right. ok you are pardoned for that). But right now, your behavior with your son's exceeds all. I have seen many MILs emotionally blackmail their sons. But you are a sadist.
Suraj/Sandhya, listen to me. Bhabho will come around once you completely ignore. She doesn't deserve all that attention you are giving her 'cos she has gone blind in her self-pity. The only one thing that would at least get her tiny brain to think sensible again would be when she comes to know about Sandhya's effort in getting her released through the same media again!
CVs, go ahead and show that Bhabho deserves the respect she is getting from SuRya and I will watch this show again. Until then I will read the updates here written by my patient forum friends!
