Mini Mathur
Mini Mathur, an MBA from a premier business school was working with Hindustan Thompson Associates before she started as VJ for India's No 1 music channel MTV. For starters, she hosts Bombay Blush - a 'whacky' culture show on India, which airs on BBC in England. She has also hosted shows like Big Picture, MTV 123, MTV Gaana Masti, a spoof on film songs and international videos and many more.

Stepping behind the camera, she was producer on two documentaries - 'A Nation Celebrates'- a film commissioned by the Ministry of External affairs to commemorate 50 years of India's independence and 'From Corner Shops to Lords'- a film also commissioned by the MEA on successful NRIs in England. Mini stepped out of the limelight for a while when she had her son Vivan. However she made a dazzling comeback as the host for the hugely popular show Indian Idol. As the friendly, warm and good-looking host of the show, Mini won almost as many hearts as some of the extremely popular finalists of Indian Idol.

The six long years of anchoring countdowns shows, game shows, travel & lifestyle style programs had conditioned her for gamut of emotions that she handled as a presenter of Indian Idol. Though a well-known name with classes, Indian Idol made her a familiar name amongst masses. Mini Mathur, post Indian Idol has occupied herself as host of the film and television gossip show Popcorn on Zoom.

Now vivacious Mini Mathur will enter her second tryst with Indian Idol Series 2 as presenter and close confidant of the contestants. She will be seen co-hosting the second season of Indian Idol with the talented Aman Yatan Verma.

Commenting on being a part of Indian Idol Series 2, Mini says, 'The show last year was an amazing experience for me and my work was really appreciated by the audiences. Indian Idol was a sensational success and this year it can only go a level beyond. Everyone is a judge here and everyone including us will be speculating and looking out for who the next Indian Idol will be'.


Aman Yatan Verma Top
A leading television and film personality, with a million dollar smile, Aman Yatan Verma is an accomplished television actor and anchor with an enviable portfolio of programs to his credit.

Having hosted various successful shows, Aman's exuberance and enthusiasm is contagious and infuses energy into participants and viewers alike. Aman has acted in various popular soaps across premier entertainment channels including Sony Entertainment Television and has also made a plunge into movies, having acted in the blockbuster Baghbaan and Pran Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye, amongst others. He will be in Suneel Darshan's next flick opposite Kareena Kapoor called 'Dosti'.

A people's person, Aman continues to wow audiences across the nation with his inimitable style and talent. And now, the very dashing Aman Verma who had hosted 'Indian Idol' last year will once again be seen as a co-presenter and close confidant of the contestants. Aman will co-host the second season of Indian Idol with the vivacious Mini Mathur.

Commenting on his second stint with Indian Idol Series 2, Aman says, 'It was a wonderful journey last year having gone through the various very emotional phases during the show for 8 whole months. We traveled together and were like one big family. We laughed with each other and cried for each other. This year we are familiar with the show and the format, we are feeling very comfortable and are looking forward to more fun and more excitement'.
