OK quick post...I did not like the thappad idea...there are certain limits that should not be crossed even in the name of comedy...and this was one...It didn't work for me...

The dance competition idea, was silly but not offensive...but the whole thappad thing. ...comedy stops being funny at some point and this was where they took it

Rest of it was OK...the difference between Akash's and Nandu's reaction about Arnavs refusal to take part in the dance was a nice contrast between Indian and Western values

Khushis crying was like her reaction after the car pranks, and the thappad was like the tea throwing incidence...I did not like that then I didn,t like it now...although I do think crying was genuine...

Overall this episode didn't work...below average 6/10

I hope tomorrow is a better day...can't believe how much Arnie has grown in character to still have it in him to be soft on her after that episode...

Sush, succinct post and agree with you.

Thappad, mosquito didnt work for me either.

There were couple of great one liners especially NK's ,"It is okay Nanav, you don't come, you will be missed" made you LOL cos that was unexpected.

Found Khushi's tears to be absolutely genuine, well ya she did recover fast, lol.

Didn't like NK-Khushi around the Pool - That is still Arnav-Khushi's area for me.

Akash's reaction surprised me, What about Payal, what if she wanted the sangeet - It is their marriage after all.

What still confuses me was what was Arnav saying No to Sangeet itself or competition in Sangeet, I am still not clear on that part.

The big bang that will happen today - So as a few memebers are predicting, A peck on the cheek, khushi looking shocked and Arnav saying What? I am sorry, you can punish me by kissing me back..Irrespective the answer is still NO.

I am actually excited about Tonite's epi - Want to see the explosion after the bang - Would it be in the forum or LM's Wall?

Edited:

Oops forgot to add, Found the scene between arnav and khushi when he melts good too. Khushi has no idea her tears have this much influence on this guy.

While I didn't mind the episode, I have to wonder why the CVs chose to incorporate this into the show. What was the purpose? If they want to show Arnav getting enraged and losing his cool then let it be because he just can't watch Nanhe getting close to Khushi anymore.

Also, Arnav could have easily objected to the sangeet without being slapped as he and Khushi were already at loggerheads over what happened at midnight. To Arnav it could be more of him trying to get under Khushi's skin which would've been fun considering Khushi always gets under his.

Good points Shwetha...yes KKG did recover fast...almost like a child...who faces up to a mistake she made but forgets it as soon as she thinks she is forgiven...Khushi is giving him an open invitation...lets how he reacts...Even if there is a peck...which is hard to imagine...it can not be a loving or caressing one...

The main thing I am looking forward to is when Arnie goes this soft...good things happen...so lets see...KKG keeps setting her foot in the lions den...How long can she count her blessings and escape his wrath? That is the question...

Khushi these days is shown childlike, in the CVs efforts to show her as a child at heart sometimes they do go OTT

I hope good things are in store for Khushi and Arnav. I really want to see this story move forward already. I am not expecting romance but I am expecting something to happen at the sangeet

I think 6 is still too much for today's episode!!

the thappad thing and the mosquitos in RM didn't work at all!! I don't blame the actors, they were brilliant in every scene, but its the creatives who really need to see what are they doing to this show since last two weeks!!

Akash's reaction was unbelievable!! One minute he turned into a dare devil and went around sneaking at midnight and now he's like yeah, no sangeet!! i loved NK's one liner that yo mate, you'll be missed and all!

The tears were genuine!! Khushi did felt bad about slapping him like she did after throwing the tea! and her apologizing and then confirming that he isn't mad at her looked like they were really husband and wife! It was a cute little scene overlooking the fact that the slap was because she wanted to kill the mosquito!

Personally i think that Arnav cancelled the sangeet for two reasons! He must have thought that the boy's side will lose the sangeet challange and secondly this NK is getting too close with Khushi!

my rating for the episode was 4.9/10
creatives and the directors need to see that they haven't done anything to the story ever since lavanya's exit! and its high time they return to their original track of 'mohabbat door jane na de, naraat pass ana na de" instead of this comedy circus which woudn't be appreciated in every episode!

I would have expected ASR of the old to do something, now not so sure, still optimistic something good should happen. I mean this guy never left a chance to caress her, ab kya ho gaya?

Hi Sush... I agree that machchar slap was as bad as throwing hot tea on his face... Not cool!
I dont see why NK was brought in? His role seems to do ... Well, not much! First few episodes were oksy but now his comedy is blah...
@Swetha- i dont think there is any possibility of peck or a kiss tomorrow... Not that I would complain if it happens! However, i can see if Khushi tirns her head sideways and holds the pose for long, Arnav may go sweet on her and if Rabba Ve is playing in the bg, arnav might touch her cheek which he to do the other day in the bed!! Maybe I am thinking too much.
I always thought a good story ties up all the loose ends. Here CVs are not good at that...so many incomplete open projects for Arnav!!!! (shaking my head in disapproval)

areeba, I looked at Arnav cancelling the competition as him not wanting NK near Khushi too, the second reason though has to do with him getting back at Khushi for the slap. Arnav is someone who loves to have the upper hand, this was his way of doing so
The scene where Khushi tearfully apologizes just gives me a glimpse of things to come for Arnav and Khushi once they marry. It was a cute scene especially when Khushi lit up like a child when Arnav nodded he forgave her.
