Is GEO scared of HUM TV?

HUM TV, that won our channel of the year award, is the third biggest sattelite channel in Pakistan, only after ARY and GEO. The channel that has been churning out hit-after-hit, at regular intervals, is envied by many.
Now, that the channel is coming up with daily soaps with 2012, sending chills down the competitors spines. Earlier in 2011, GEO had changed time-slots of its serials from 8:00 to 8:30, because of ARY's shuffling, and now with HUM TV coming up with its serials at 8:30 on weekdays, GEO has fone back on the normal 8 PM slot.
What many consider a poor move, is justified by the officials. A spokeperson stated that the move will surely pay off as GEO has already made its market on weedays with dramas like JCTJSGG, and now Mere Charagar on Tuesday.
HUM TV's officials were not available to shed any light on this. Well, no matter what the time is, we believe if the product is good enough, it alays catches eyeballs.
