Today's epi- what worked, what didn't work.

Honestly if I judge the epi is terms of only what happened today, how the performances were...it wasn't all that bad. In fact, I quite liked it (except a few things of course )

ARHI UNDER THE BLANKET - Khushi was forced to lie next to Arnav, but she totally freaked out so she tried to stay as far away from Arnav as possible. But Buaji refused to give up and told her to cuddle up with Payal. After Buaji left, Khushi (looking like a scared little kitten ), tightly shut her eyes and pretended to sleep to escape from ASR's wrath.

ASR was all geared up to blast Khushi but the moment he saw the sleeping beauty, he completely melted and stared with the most loving expression and Rabba ve began. When he was about to remove the strand of hair from her face, Khushi opened her eyes, noticed he was about to touch and jumped with a startled look.

I don't how many of you noticed but ASR got a little flustered and gave a chori pakri gayee expression. I think he even smiled a little. Or was I imagining it? Anyways, while KKG was busy adjusting the string-like dupatta...he composed himself and halfheartedly accused her, only to escape from the situation. His voice was totally shaky there and did not have the ASR power to it.

Khushi's reaction was justified, she knew she wasn't the one to come in front of him, ASR was falsely accusing her (only to distract her) and the cat fight began. Buaji heard it (what are the walls of GH made of? Does this lady never sleep? ) ASR's phone rang, she freaked, he freaked, she screamed, he ripped her kurta.

Was that necessary? we have seen him rip the pearl strings, rip the her dupatta'what's new ?? No creativity there.

And then Arhi fought some more and declared war against each other.

BROMANCE TIME: Later ASR and Akash did some bromance in the car and ASR behaved the seven year old angry school kid saying he mad because he lost and it's all Akash fault. Scared little bro Akash said if only NK bhai had come...

At GH, Khushi was fuming...Payaliya seems disturbingly more concerned about her Jethji these days. Which makes me wonder if there ever comes a situation where she has too chose sides, will she pick her new family over KKG?

The only part of the sister convo I liked was KKG describing Payash JI-JI romance. It completely echoed our feelings.😆

After successfully giving red roses to his crush, KN who was munching lays, wearing pink pajamas faced some serious grilling from his cousin. A green-eyed ASR made him spill that he really paid a visit to Khushi's house at midnight.

PINK IS IN - NK's fake accent keeps changing and his name for ASR too'first it was Naanav, then it was Nannav, today it sounded Nunnav.

After finding out what happened with Anjali, Arnav ran to his Di to make sure she was fine and even scolded her for being careful. Barun gave a mind blowing performance there. The way those tears welled up and the way he left from there because he was unable to control it...superb.👏

I didn't understand why Anjali-Shyam didn't see each other at twelve. Weren't they together this whole time?

Next morning KKG declared war against the groom's side along with her soldiers (the Gupta ladies) Was this really needed?

Today's Barun was completely fabulous, loved all his expressions, and loved his smirk. Sanaya did very well with what was given to her. No complains at all about her performance.

Thankfully I did not expect a kiss or a hug under the blanket, so I wasn't hugely disappointed. But many people would be. The cv's should not give us such cliffhangers and raise our hopes only to disappointed. After all the audience is Arhi starved...they will expect more.

The epi itself was not all that bad. In fact much better than some of the epis we saw in the last few weeks. The problem lies with the way the story is shaping up. It is still going in circles.

Whenever there's a wedding, the members of both families would take part in all the planning and the celebrations. Even the most serious people would be part of all the fun. So I don't mind the light-hearted nok jhoks between Arhi.

But what was the need of the dress tearing, KKG accusing, ASR counter accusing and ultimately making ARhi fight each other unnecessarily? This whole thing could have been done differently.

We also had a Rabba ve moment today. But they could have easily made it a two-way Rabba ve. It was only ASR who felt anything even if it was for a minute. Couldn't they have shown Khushi also feeling something? Then the whole seen would have then become a treat to watch.

UPDATED - The fights between ASR and KKG are now looking forced. Not the actors' fault at all. How long will this go on? Will leads ever realize there feelings...or will it happens only when the show reaches its end ?

Sorry for the long rant. 😳

Another big let down was from LM himself. What was the need to raise our expectations.. I read his wall on FB and every other post echos the same thing.. bring back the intensity...Enuff of comedy etc.. I hope he reads them and implements.. after all he wants his show to succeed at the end of the day and here he is getting viewers directly input.

i did notice it and i went back and re watched it to see the emotions of all kind changing within fraction of seconds.. ASR always does that. Remember when he apologizes to Payal and when he says that it isn't Kushi faults, she overhears.. he realizes (just as in this casae) that he has shown his true feelings, wht does he do.. he just throws some accusation at her to escape..

I didn't mind the dress tearing thing because it was different then before, before ASR tore her dress because he was being ruthless. But this time it was more of like a teenager kind of thing, he ripped it to make Kushi mad and to get the upper hand, more then to make her upset. Today we saw the Chotey/Arnav that Anjali and Akash were reminensing about instead of the cold ASR, I loved it. I think the reason the CVs are not progressing is because they are trying to figure out a way to make Arhi express their feelings with out making it too cliched or expected, I like the way the story is progressing (except for snake), it is natural, Arhi have just started feeling comfortable enough around eachother to actually do this nok-jok, think about it would we have gotten this type of scene when Arhi first met, no, Arnav would have been screaming and Kushi would have been crying.

I know Somy, the track is totally lack luster. I am not at all in favor of it. In fact I also vented in a couple of posts today. I am only talking about today's epi. I actually thought it was a lot better than many of the crap episodes the cv's fed us in the last couple of weeks.

so true ...and yes the epi was not that bad...
i mean ARHI in one frame and in one blanket😍!!!Ah wat can be better than this but the thing here is that the viewers dont need what CVs are showing us right now that is COMEDY and that too between the leads.If it is supposed to be a mature,intense and passionate love story then viewers should be given that portion most...
I wish it had never reached at this silly comedy track.

Pleease no more Rabba ve until our KKG grows up.A sincere request to the CV's from a die hard fan.😭
