Gandhis are typical of my in-laws. They are utterly selfish and always pick on anyone outside of their family. They don't consider the outsiders as family even if they have been living with them for ages. They are always quick to asserting that they are right and everyone else is wrong and never mend their mistakes or take time to say sorry to anyone...that's where the Bedi's are the best. They are always oh so concerned of outsiders all the time and are very selfless and feel that they need to keep the outsider happy at all times even if it means having to make sacrifices on their part.
Hetal never considers Bedi's as family.
Mona is not considered family in the Gandhi household...in fact they walk all over her.
Bharti all of a sudden is not family in fact the children also put her out of their lives even for a moment.
And Bharti also does not stop abuses hurled right in front of her at the Bedis' for no fault of theirs - first by her daughter and then her sister.
on the other hand ...Karan is asked to leave to accommodate Parmeet.
Aditya is given first class treatment even though he is only a paying guest.
i think in-laws are simply that way!
