Hi Guys,

after Catan's loss in today's epi, Abhinav pointed out that it was due a lack of proper leader. When there is group of ppl all trying to survive in extreme conditions chaos is going to intrude pretty easily ( my personal opinion) so i agree with him that a leader in a team can help to avoid confusions and flustering and all ...i dont mean by leader 24*7 dictator who rough shods over others but some one who in case of confusions can get the group together, when time requires divide work or stuff like that ...do u think in these two episodes any member of catan tribe showed qualities to become a future leader...any prospects?? or may be the need of a so called leader is unnecessary? any thoughts???

A leader is always necessary... or at least a strong alliance which they dont have.

I agree a leader for the Catan's should be there...but it's too early to say which among st them is capable of handling this position...but i think someone young n energetic might prove to be a good leader.

true...after 2 or 3 more episodes we may witness an unofficial leader or alliance to emerge.

I think abhinav can be a leader, he is kinda diplomatic(during mummy convo or elimination convo), works hard(shelter or going fishing), seems to have a logical mind(when he says taking the shelter out in the open on beach was wrong) and takes initiative. and ofcourse has a friendly demeanour and atheletic (hence stronger chances to contribute well to the tribe's survival).

but again i agree, its too soon.

Maybe they should democratically elect a leader for each week.

They do need a leader as they are not united. I mean they will have side alliances/groups as that is needed to survive in this game. can't remember the old guys name but he seemed to aggressive and needs to tone it a bit or he will be shown the door lol. Prinyanka was cunning in geting sylivi out but not sure that was a good move though. chalo lets see. though I think Karan wants to lead lol

Leadership qualities is different in different people, but sometimes some of them can bottle down in one person which certain dimensions...if keeping team work spirit, boost the moral , encourage in participation and strive to fight, and break the opponents winning stirke
JD is putting himself infront to take the authority, well still possibility that someone could balance it and I would see her (Shilpa) in the stream up for leadership after seeing how frustrated she was when they lost on the second day, It may still be too early to say just my POV But of anyone else is willing to do I hope they do as a team but the team will eventually have some groups and that bottles down to one person who will be the ultimate survivor.

I feel Timmy or Abhinav could emerge as the leaders.
