sometimes we tend to give a blind eye to movies in which our favourite actors are not cast. it happens frequently to me since i have this tendency to watch only srk movies since he's da only reason which got me hooked to indian movies
so what are da movies you loved and enjoyed watching as a neutral viewer whilst your favourite actors were not there on celluloid?
here's my list...
dil chahta hai
one of my most fav indian movies. various ppl shocked me; aamir khan, akshya khanna, preity zinta & farhan aktar da director but saif ali khan shocked me more than anybody else. i always thought this guy was nothing but he proved me wrong. his comic timing was out of this world and i still crack up when i watch da restaurant scene in which he follows da girl who goes on a date with her bf

never liked amitabh or rani and still don't but they both rock in this movie. can't imagine anybody else in their shoes playing da characters. it was such a wonderful masterpiece by sanjey leela bansalee who's another person im not fond of
wake up sid
ranbir kapoor was slated as da next best thing and i thought he was hugely overrated since he was yet another 'kapoor'. but da guy slapped me on da face with this movie. he was extraordinary playing an ordinary kid who refused to grow up and stand on his own feet. hats off to you ranbir!
jab we met
another kapoor whom i really don't like is kareena. she is a good female actor but for some reason i don't like her, never did. i was forced to watch this movie since i like shahid kapoor and read some good reviews. i must admit that da whole movie including shahid kapoor was overshadowed by this girl kareena kapoor. there's no way anybody could have played geet better than her. by far geet has been one of my most fav fictional characters on celluloid
