Vote Count of Big Boss is audited by Ernst &Young. You can be rest assured, there is no manipulation there. Yes, Big Boss team does take decisions like who to 'send back' as Wild Card entries / guests etc., if in their wisdom they feel TRPs will get better by their decision, (recall sending back of Dolly Bindra last season and Pooja Mishra-Mahek-this season), but actual vote count itself is fair.
In this FINALE week, till Wednesday, authentic status was Amar marginally leading, Juhi catching up...and Sid-Mahek-Sky, WAY BEHIND!
So what happened in 3 days that completely turned the tables on Amar and amazingly helped Mahek-Sid finish 2nd and 3rd?😲
Looking back, as I see it, Amar badly shot himself in the foot with his strategy+Sky ended up playing the role of King maker here & in this, BB Coverage of Wednesday-Thursday and Friday episodes clinched it for Juhi and pushed Amar down the cliff.
How?😲
Well, once Mahek returned to BB House, Amar had a hard choice to make. Does he align himself with Mahek+Sid-----OR-----does he go with Sky+Juhi. Most unwittingly, he chose the latter option! I am not saying Juhi and Sky are bad or Mahek, Sid are good. In the end, its a game show and all were playing against each other.
But if one dispassionately analyzes, 3 months of coverage, more or less established in eyes of majority viewers that 'Sky is the bad guy'! (When on stage Rakhi Sawant, Malaika, hell even Dolly Bindra types say Sky doesn't deserve to win, you can imagine what damage the coverage shown and his conduct in house has done to his fortunes).😛
Indian audience loves Bollywood scripts! They love to identify Heroes and Villains in a script!
And once it was established who the Villain was, many were rooting for Amar to take up the hero's mantle and Amar himself let them down! 😕
In last three day's episodes, a shell shocked audience watched their hero, 'stay mum, even as Villain approaches Mahek-the damsel in distress & a kid trying to stand upto Villain, even as for some inexplicable reason, the hero, they were looking up to, chose to stay not just mum but actually blasted the damsel and kid!"
Hundreds of thousands of confused voters watched open mouthed, as their 'Hero' Amar, chose to stay quiet even as Sky relentlessly provoked Mahek as she kept pleading, to be left alone!...And in absence of Hero standing up to Villain, it was left for lil' Kid to take up the fight!😛
That was the point that left audience, or rather Amar's supporters divided. Huge chunk of them swung to Sid or Mahek's side.
Such was the vote loss for Amar that even Sky, whose steady voters Sha1, SaraSingh wouldn't let him down, come what may...surged ahead of Amar!👏
In the end, it was a case of so near and yet, so far for Amar. 😭
All he had to do was to pick up one fight, in the last week, with Sky-Juhi and even if he did not want to team up with Mahek Sid------he just had to project himself as a no nonsense,principled Hero!😛
Lack of spine is what he has always been accused of and it is lack of spine in the end that left him all mangled and smashed in the end! Amar always said if you have a brain, you do not need a spine! And here his brain itself deserted him! It did not even occur to him that he had aligned with Sky group to survive being nominated for evictions by the group and in last week, nominations for eviction had no meaning at all.
Juhi's Vote bank of Maureen, Pesi😳, was ALWAYS, expected to remain intact and thats what it proved out to be in the end and helped her sail through!👏
As far as Amar is concerned it was a typical UP Political election scenario! Hindu Voters get divided between BJP, Congress & a few strong independent candidates--Dalits vote en-mass for Mayawati and she sails through...even as the divided lot is left wondering and wailing in the end!😛
