Happy DMGlicious New Year DMGians!!
Just want to take this time out to thank each and every single one of you all for making Dill Mill Gayye's journey such a beautiful place. We all might not know each other, but we all have contributed in making this a beautiful place to visit. We all have made such long lasting friendships that will never be broken. We all have made DMG what it is today. 😊
Now, for DMG itself. What can we say? It has been exactly 1 year, 2 months and 2 days since Dill Mill Gayye has been ended. But not one day, have we failed to miss it. Not one day has passed since we didn't connect our lives with the lives of DMG. We have always made topics on cherishing the past days; because we have refused to let this beautiful past go.
People say that, it is the new year. Forget the past and move on. But if the past is so beautiful that it feels like paradise, then would anyone want to forget it? No. No one wants to let go of DMG or the beautiful stories, people and love it has left behind.
Since I personally haven't watched all of DMG, I don't know if the New Years was celebrated any other time than the one in 2008. So I'm just going to talk about that. 😊
There is a reason for us all to celebrate this day. This was the day that Armaan and Riddhima shared one of their most passionate moments. This scene was one of those that had greatly impacted their relationship.
I am talking about the New Year Terrace Scene.
The way that this scene was directed, the dialogues that were given, the way they were executed, the way that they made the eyes do all the talking, it was all just too beautiful. And I am so glad that I watched this show otherwise I would have missed out on something so beautiful.
The way Armaan and Riddhima's feelings were portrayed - beautiful!!
Armaan was just so true to his character. That is the Armaan that I fell in love with. The caring, loving, warm Armaan. He stayed within his limits but yet was agressive in making Riddhima reveal her feelings for him. He so desperately wanted Riddhima to confess her love, so that they can start the New Years together as newly found lovers, rather than being sadistic and heart broken.
And Riddhima, she was just a tornado of emotions. She was yearning for him. She wanted to scream, and shout and say, 'Yes Armaan! Yes, I love you. I love you not only with my mind, and heart but my soul. I love you, and I always will even if I deny it.' She wanted to stay secure in his arms for the rest of her life. She wanted to welcome every new year with him, with a grand smile resting on their lips. Because she knew deep down, that it is with him that she felt bliss.
We all had so deeply desired that Armaan and Riddhima confess their love on the New Years Day. And we had received that. Even if they hadn't said it verbally, their souls confessed their love for each other through the eyes. We had received the most beautiful confession till date.
And what other beautiful way to welcome the New Year? Armaan and Riddhima had worn the same clothing/color on the New Years Day as they did on the last episode. For New Years, Armaan had worn a white hoodie and in the last episode, he had worn a whit shirt whereas Riddhima hard worn the exact same red dress. 😍
Isn't it a beautiful way of keeping the past and the future together? On the New Years Day the verbal confession that we were missing, was recieved on the last day of episode.
I, for one, will always be welcoming the New Year with a big smile on my face, knowing that just like Armaan and Riddhima, dreams made with a true heart with the purest of intentions do come true.
