Dear All,

Today's episode's revelations abt Renu's divorce details to the loonies got me thinking...should the Mishras not have told Bajpayees abt her divorce? Were they right in telling truth? knowing how conservative loonies are?

If any of you have a different option than the options in the poll...feel free to write that down!

In my opinion, knowing very well how the loonies would react, they shouldn't have told them...more importantly since Anant already knew and was very supportive, there was no need to create this hungama before the wedding!

i will go with the option 3 but still others will understand it if they get to know it later but in bajpayees case that would have been very dangerous so its better mishras have told them atleast they wont create any ruckus further if anyhtign happens so i feel there would have been one more option like not coming in mind excatly

Intereshting Poll...
I don't know what to vote for?!
Ideally : it shud not matter to B's - it is M's personal matter!
But B's being loonies .. it was safer to let them know beforehand.
Then agian - both A & Mo knew about it .. so not telling B's wud have been a bettr option -- but then again: What if Rama created a big hoopla out of it? LoonieB's wud have been more unmanagable after that!
So,finally me thinks: it was a wise decision to let the truth be known! I still haven't watched it: but from LUs can say: Hope Anant/Navya/Mohan answer Om's question of - why N didn't tell them abt it during her stay with: it was too new & still developing matter, so she didinot! And such matters shud be discussed/disclosed by elders of the house!
I am for Renu quitting B's job & finding new one on her Own! And I am for B's not dragging it beyond decent limit. Lets see how it develops!
(Cv's actually can go for very Kektaish cheesy solution: Renu quit b's job - and joins newage to replace N - & N , as she wants to work after shaadi, works with HubbyA in B's press😛)

Interesting poll Soumya! Although I havent seen the episode and will very likely pass it after reading the LUs, I think yes the truth should be told and why not? Why is it still a taboo or a case of embarassment if the girl is getting divorced. I guess that is a different topic all together.. Granted loonies reactions are always exaggerated, but wouldnt it be worse if they came to know from elsewhere. And when such news comes from elsewhere it is usually twisted! I somehow agreed with Navya in yesterday's episode, that how can they all enjoy a beautiful occasion of marriage in the constant fear, for whatever reason, that B's will know of Renu's divorce. With these serial walas...it could have been worse..where the actual tamasha could have taken place right before the seventh phera or something. Like Gautam ruining the day or papers falling in Angry papa's hands..Yes it shouldnt be a big deal for B's but rather than knowing a half baked or a twisted truth an honest truth should be appreciated, but this is la la land so one helluva deal will be made!
As for Navya not speaking up while her stay, isnt it their own la la tradition that such matters are discussed amongst elders..?! No, Navya cannot talk about her sister's divorce just like that in a family where warmth and love is absconding...

It will be interesting to see, how they react when they come to know that Anant and Mohan bhaiya knew of this...full to gussa and all and mundi being jhatoked left and right...😉

Nice poll, Soumya..I for once support Mishras today. They were absolutely right in letting the bajpayees know.👍🏼.This sits even better coz of the evil plans Rama has been chalking to expose Renu's divorce. Now that loonies know about the whole thing, I am happy that Rama's plan goes down the drain.

Interesting Poll dear..
As i had already said..i feel B's should know abt the divore as they are realted and logically they should be considered a part of the family.
also, considering how orthodox and unnecessarily trqaditional loonies are,it is better to get them know the truth straight rather than waiitgn for someithng unexpecte to happen. if they would have come to know abt it from outside, it would have been more detrimantal.
about navya not sharing with the family..i agree, such matters are to be discuees among the elders and if i am not wrong, B's are the one's who strictly follow this rule..then how come this got changed this time aorund..seriously it is hard to understand these loonies and their illogical accusations..no wonder we all the mloonies i guess😉

@Sara..thanks for the response...I understand what you were trying to say..even I thought there should have been another option, but couldn't really put it in words!:)

@Shaina...you nicely articulated my thoughts...and I understand the dilemma...and agree with what you say:) with the loonies, seems like being straight forward is the good option, even if that means listening to jali-kati!:(

@Anjali..thanks hun...you do bring out good points...I was thinking of this as real life situation and wondering what should have been the right thing to do...and it seems like there is no pleasing loonies...any option spells doomsday for Ms!!!

@Nidhi...I was thinking abt it it too...am all for being truthful abt things, but what do you do when ppl do not appreciate this trait and in turn humiliate and malign you for speaking the truth?:(

@Urmi...am not sure how much I am with you regarding Bs knowing coz they are related and all...they haven't done anything so far that should make Ms warm up to them to be able to share something as painful and personal as a daughter's divorce!

@Kayal_SHAMYA...yes you have a point..there is no telling with the loonies:)
