I got my first job at the young age of nine. I was thrilled as it involved lending my voice for a radio spot. I was doing the ad with my mother for a hair oil company. She played the older woman, and I played the role of the child. For one radio spot, I earned my first paycheck of Rs 50. It may seem like a paltry sum now, but back then, it was a treat for me.
