Okay, after all the praise for the Chikni Chameli has gone to Katrina Kaif and choreographer Ganesh, can we have a round of applause for the first time director Karan Malhotra?

A little birdie tells us, "He was very clear of what exactly he wanted. Down to every expression and move. Before this Kat's dance numbers had the gyrations and the grinds but her face was blank.

But Karan wanted to change that. And till he didn't get it right, he didn't okay the shot. Even if that meant 18 takes!" So now the mystery behind Kat's sizzling expressions is finally solved.

Thanks for a great post...I was amazed at the amount of expressions she gave...helas...it was obvious to me that she has just undergone some face surgery...The swelling is too obvious...which made some of the expressions look weird...They should have waited another week for the swelling to subside before shooting.

I like Kat but I don't watch this song because it's painful for me to see how she has destroyed her naturally beautiful face...but I'm digressing...Karan Malhotra deserves credit and he's definitely a promising director.
