& this whole PC rumor was not to promote Don2. It all started before his Ra.One release. The populace is not so open hearted to accept a gay/bi as a superhero.
Exactly... This was no publicity vublicity... Sequels like these dont even need this kind of publicity... Most of the sequels work at the BO bcoz they are sequels of successful movies... Same with Don 2... Right from the trailers it looked like a better movie compared to Raone...
All this drama was a set up so that something more scandalous would not come out... Look what has happened to Yash Birla now... All of Mumbai's business circle and the elite are worried how this will have a ripple affect on them and the Birlas are upto some serious damage control...As long as its an open secret all is well... But when things start getting into print thats when things get shaky...
Same here too... This was an I scratch your back and you scratch mine deal... One succeeded in putting a full stop to the rumors/whispers surrounding him and the other got into good books with him and that ensures that she is protected from the big bad wolves of Bollywood...
