Idea from movie 'Fools Rush In'
Bani and Jai are uncomfortable the first two days. Pia is staying with Rano and Bani feels very guilty about it as they are all now dependant on Walia family and eating their bread. Bani suggests to Pia to find a job. Pia retorts and finds it below status to work. Bani is unhappy. Pia asks Bani when she is divorcing Mr.Walia. Bani is shocked to her wits.
Later Bani thinks about the time Jai mutters 'I love you Pia' in his drunken state sometime back. She also remembers Pia saying how she did a mistake by marrying Pushkar. She decides she needs to move away so Jai can marry Pia. But she also thinks she loves him too, so why should she let go unless Jai wants the same. They find out she is pregnant. Bani is not sure if Jai wants this. Jai procalims his love for her. Bani is happy. But Pia tells her maybe Jai is stuck to her because of the child. bani ponders over this, 3 months pass and Roshni tells her the Park Road secret which shatters Bani's world like a cascade of glass. She walks out and meets with an accident.
Jai comes to know about it and rushes to the hospital. He asks her how she is and how the baby is. bani tells him there is no baby and she doesnt need him anymore. She accuses him of using her just because she was carrying his heir, and now that is gone, he neednt be obligated to her. She knows the park road incident and can never forgive him. Jai tries to talk to her but bani refuses to listen. Jai leaves the hospital heart broken. Bani cries over in her hospital bed. Jai comes the next day only not to find her over there. He searches for her everywhere and finally finds a note saying not to look for her. Bani arrives at Maasi's place and breaks down. Bani now is like a living dead person with no emotions left. Jai in the meantime plunges himself into more work thinking about Bani every minute. One day he receives divorce papers from bani. Jai feels a pain within him and cannot imagine the thought of losing Bani forever from his life and finds out that she is at Massi's place. He rushes there only to find she left for Mt.Abu via train. Jai proclaims his love for Bani to massi and vows to find her. He leaves via plane to mt.Abu and is waiting for her at the train station. The train arrives empty. Upon questioning the conductor he finds out due to a technical problem, the passengers were boarded off in the previous station and it is 3 hours by car from there to this town.
Jai rushes in his car and waits at a junction for Bani. He finally sees Bani in a taxi and his heart starts pounding. Jai stops the car and Bani to get down and talk to him. bani refuses and tells him everthing is over between them. he belongs to roshni or pia, whomever he finds worthy. Jai tries to reason with her., and starts proclaiming his love for her. he tells her that the baby was not the reason he wanted to live his life with her, but he felt an extraordinary relationship with her and that she is his true life. even tho the baby doesnt exist anymore, he still has the same feelings for her and it will not change. Bani starts to cry and asks him to leave. Jai opens the car down and asks Bani to get down. Bani gets down. To Jai's utter shock, he looks at Bani's protruding tummy. She looks atleast 8 months pregnant. jai asks what the hell is this. Bani doesnt say anything. jai says 'u r still pregnant', u lied to me. how could u lie to me about such a thing, how could u do this to me. This is our baby. Bani corrects him saying this is my baby and he neednt invlove with her. Jai tries to touch Bani and she moves away. Jai tries to persuade bani, and all of a sudden she holds her tummy and squeals. It starts to rain. bani is in labor. she is crying in pain, jai holds her and asks the car driver to take them to the nearest hospital. jai is now totally worried for bani. after much drama., she gives birth to twins - a boy and a girl. they both cry hugging each other looking at the kids.
they reconcile and live happily ever after.
