As Aditee's Bangalore friend described it, the Love-making / Consummation scene between Jai and Bani can only be described in one word, "Ground Breaking"! No two ways about it! I have been an avid TV watcher for the past so many years and having seen almost all the serial being aired on the Main Channels, I have to say, that the scene showed on KS has got to be one of the most intense and passionate one ever shot! I think a lot is going to be written about it!😃
The beauty of the scene was the simplicity in it….No long dialogues, no cheesy pick-up lines, no fumbling, no declarations of love, no speech at all, infact……Only Bani spoke today, infact, she was extremely incoherent and racking with sobs and I must say Prachi did a wonderful job of it, primarily because she was extremely nervous while shooting it and that is what the scene required too! Jai was just Jai today….Stable, Solemn and Steady…The way his confusion gives away to concern and then the sudden realization hits him that Bani is in love with him and then as he approaches her….Whoever conceived this scene has a special bow from me! Amazingly well written scene, absolutely classy and romantic!👏
Yes, the clichs of flowing white curtains, flickering candles, wind blowing and moon shining in were all there…but what made the whole scene so unique was the physical and emotional coming together of Jai and Bani….Without saying a word, Jai takes Bani in his arms and begins kissing her…and Bani is not even shocked or surprised….It was like meant to happen!
Initially I thought that they would only show Jai kissing Bani on her cheeks and her forehead, but, ahem, Jai kissed her on both sides of her neck (Hey, I described the same thing in my fan-fic, honestly I didn't know about this!) and then goes behind her back, to open the Dori of her Blouse (Not too sure) and then he plants a kiss on her back and then bends down to kiss her on her waist….I was like…Hey Bhaggu, yeh kya dikha rahein hai yaar…..😳
The scene was so classy, primarily because of the performers….the expression's Ram and Prachi had were incredible….This scene itself should get them nominated in every major award function!
Then they show Jai holding Bani by her waist and covering her to kiss her again and then a long shot is shown where we can only see their heads, indicating a smooch….Arre yaar, itna dikha diya tha, toh woh bhi dikha dete…..😛
Bani then goes to lie on the Bed (which I found cute, as this shows, she is fully aware of what is happening) and Jai comes to her….He had this killer expression on his face, I am amazed how the actors manage to portray such emotions….something which is so personal and private to a person's life…Kudos to both of them for bringing out the essence of the scene, even if it took 20 retakes!😉
I thought that the best part of the scene was the after-consummation sequence….Bani wakes up first and looks at Jai…..and in a refreshing change, doesn't look racked with guilt or shame….but is totally composed and in control, infact looks emotionally stable and calm than she was before Jai took her into his fold!
I thought that it was Jai who was slightly awkward and blushing (which made him look cuter than he already is) and is at a loss of words, primarily because he was bursting with happiness (The Cheeky little thing that he is!)……😉😆
I think I will watch the Video of the Episode a 100 times and keep sighing……😳
Don't worry your heads off for Jai and Bani…..Nothing is going to come in between them, atleast nothing permanent…..as someone had mentioned very nicely, that all of Jai's ex's had only got Jai and Bani closer than before….Pai got Jai and Bani married and Roshni got Jai and Bani married in the true sense!😳👏
And it doesn't matter what Pia wants now, because Jai won't let her have her way….and neither will Bani! Remember, the three sisters have to separate….and Jai is the only common factor to them!
