PART 8

Maan walked towards his office.It was his.The three decade hard work that his grandfather and his father had put in had given fruits.

Every stride he took showed-pride,arrogance,determination and confidence.

He entered the lift and the silence was disturbed by a phone call.

"Are you sure this will work out?"Geet asked Ann who was busy in doing Geet's manicure.

"Of course bhabi!Even the great Maan Singh Khurana,the richest billionaire in the nation can't ignore you for long..Guess why?Because he can't ignore a sexy bombshell like you!"and laughed.

Geet turned pink and looked down.

Vicky cherished the scene before him.Never in his life had he seen Ann this happy not even with Ragini.

He looked at both the women who had become suddenly so important in his life.

He looked at Geet who was dressed in a collared deep purple shirt with light purple laces lining the torso with deep purple buttons.She wore a short black skirt showing her slim,sexy,long legs which were waxed.

She wore a three-inch high pencil with white straps neatly showing her trimmed toe nails and their perfect alignment on her foot.

Geet's hair was tied up in a neat bun with a deep purple satin ribbon that secured it tight in its place.She also wore a single diamond stud on her ears with two curls that were on the side of her face.

Right now she was lining her black eyes with kohl and applied gloss to her pink lips.

She looked perfectly beautiful!

Vicky looked at Ann and Geet who were talking animatedly about something and somewhere he knew,Geet was filling the void that Ragini had created in their lives and in their hearts after she left them.

When the realisation hit him,he felt a lone tear escape his eyes and raised his hand to wipe it when he felt someone's glance on him.He looked and saw Geet looking at him with worry.

She raised her brows to question him when he shook his head and mouthed "I love you"to her.

Maan attented the call and the voice on the other side said "Namaste!Mr.Billionaire!"in a clean English accent.

Maan did no mistake in identifying the voice to be Mr.Whorlton.

"Yes,Mr.Wholton!"he said.

"Well,Mr.Khurana I just called to ask if my orders are ready?"

Maan closed his eyes in frustration but managed it and said,"Yes.Mr.Whorlton,Just the color for the panels are to be decided"

The voice on the other end laughed.

"How long Mr.Khurana?For How long?Why can't u just accept that you can't do anything without ragini beside you?"

Maan closed his eyes in pain.

Before Mr.Whorlton was a client,he was Anvar's old friend.Maan had always addressed him as Mr.Whorlton yet he was his personal councillor without whom he could have never overcome the loss of Ragini.

"maan,beta Are you there?"Mr.Whorlton's voice shook him out.

"Ji..Ji Mr.whorlton"he said.

"maan,Life is sometimes cruel and it seems that all your ways are blocked yet,there's another way which is unknown to you.Cmon Maan..I didn't call you to pressure you about the orders but I called because I wanted my son to live life again..They say in Hindi right'Jeena mushkil hai aur use bhi mushkil hai ki tere pyar ke saath jeena'..

"I know How much you had suffered.You have to forget her and move on.For how many days will you stay without any happiness?It's been two years since Ragini has left you..You have to move on Maan.I know It's hard to believe but,trust me..If I hadn't moved on after my break-up with Christina,would I have gotten Jess?If you're free can we catch up later in this month when I come to India?"

He couldn't reply except those tears which gathered in his eyes.

"Thank you Mr.Whorlton"he said choking.

"Can u atleast call me uncle?I know that Anvar had taught you manners!"he said and laughed.

Maan laughed a little and wiped his tears and said,"Thanks uncle for being with me!"and hung up feeling better.

Today was a new day-a new beginning.

He would start his life afresh blocking away all the pains love had given him.

Today he would move on.He will forget her though she'll hold a place forever in his heart.

The lift door opened and he inhaled the breath of fresh air-the air of his new life,the air of his new beginning..

He walked with a smile outside the lift and greeted all his employees but his smile was instantly washed away and he stood frozen at what he saw...

Geet was standing in the reception area and enquiring the details of the place of the interview when she sensed a familiar smell of cologne.She turned around and her eyes widened with shock as she saw Maan glaring at her with utmost fury.

"What the hell is she wearing?"he thought to himself as he tried his best to digest Geet's new avatar.

No,he admitted that she indeed looked pretty the looks every guy was giving her was just OUTRAGEOUS he thought.

He noticed that Geet had dropped her file in the shock and she bent down to take it.

"wow..this girl is sure an item yaar!I'm taking her home tonight"Maan heard someone whisper.

'Enough is enough'he thought as he yelled,"GEET INTO MY CABIN..NOW!!!!"and stormed off leaving a shocked and surprised Geet behind.

Guys thank you all for giving me great support and keeping this thread alive.Never did I think in my dreams that I would write some stories and bore you all!!

As you all know I'm in tenth grade at present,The next term will be hectic my teachers said.I'll try my best to manage both the FFs in the next term i.e. January to April

So there will be updates only once in TWO WEEKS for both the FFs..(One week update for Language of Love and another week update for Tied by the Sacred Knot)

My SS Revenge is sweet will be over soon.I'll try my best to finish it in the coming week cos I'll update it most probably daily.

I just hope you will be giving me the same love...
