Maryaada is promoting the gay issue very much which is wrong for our society.. Its India not any foreign country.. Instead of highlighting this gay issue they should show how a man should come out from all this without leaving his wife because In between couples physical needs are not everything they can live with emotions aswell.. So I want Maryaada makers not to highlight this gay issue much and should concentrate onto the solution..
All Actors are good specially Dakssh Ajit Singh (Gaurav) & Vindhya Tiwary (Vidya) but after the last to last maha-episode of 12th november they started highlighting the gay issue which is wrong now script writters/directors should concentrate on Gaurav and Vidya's married life.. They should give more importance to this issue rather then the gay issue.. 😊

I am sorry but physical relationship is the biggest part of any relationship...it shows that love that you have for each other...we get life once so why hide who we are and force ourselves to live a lie...it doesnt matter if this is India or a foreign country...a person is who they are in any part of the world...if you have a problem with the supposed "gay" issue then dont watch the show

Are you for real or are you living in La La Land? Homosexuality exists and cannot be put under the covers to cater to your sensibilities. Please get you head out of the clouds. If you find it offensive don't watch the show. I for one believe we need to respect things that we might not understand or like. They exist and are part and parcel of life. Please grow up.

This was your first post, so first of all welcome to india-forums.com and second, I feel sorry for you that you joined india-forums.com just to post an ignorant and hateful message. It's not too late to educate yourself about homosexuality, because when you do, you'll most definitely regret writing this message here.

Hi Samad,
I totally agree with you and I am glad that you brough this up.
First of all, gay originated first in Africa. Asia, Europe, America, MIddle East. India has a lot of gay but they are too ashamed to come out in public. I know of quite a few either through friends, workers and seen when I was very young before we migrated to Canada in late 70's. America has accepted the gay's and the lesbians and thus it is out in the open, but that should not make North America a bad culture.
I have a very good girlfriend who is a lesbian and I did not know about this side of her until much later. I love our friendship but I just shut the reality of her being gay out of my mind and concentrate on her good side of a great friend. I have noticed that some serials and movies have displayed this romance so publically that it is not easily digestable. I am siding you on this and every person has a right to their opinion and yes I want Guarav and Vidya to get together and live a happy married life.

I can understand your fears. I am myself leaving in a conservative and traditionalist society where many people avoid this issue.. But you have to understand that homosexuality is not a sin or a hillness. It is natural, it is smth you can not change. People have tried for thousand of years to change them, they have persecuted and killed them even today, but there are still here because it is smth you can not change. Willing to see gaurav and vidya together it is to say I want those two persons to be unhappy for the rest of their life rather than to accept or try to understand the true and genuine love of Karan and Gaurav. You can not want such a thing. Love is the most important think, that is what should matter for you. Karan and Gaurav are a beautiful couple, how can't you see that? beleive me, an advice for life, don't let fear and ignorance to rule you, they are our worst enemies, they make you blind and unable to real hapiness.

Although everyone has a right to opinion I do understand your point of view. To be honest in my life I have seen two things. First a perfectly straight man who even had kids and loved his wide turned gay. Secondly a gay guy married for his monter but later lived a happy life with his wife. So I think just how a man can turn gay he may become straight. I think society allows it to be accepted so people don't try to change. But having said that I'm glad that Maryada is addressing the issue, and that too in the way they are because this happens all over the world. Whether it be India Pakistan or Europe..so I guess maybe this way mums wouldn't ruin girls lives for the sake of their son, as well as never blame the wife for their son turning gay which I have also witnessed..

I think that life is a bit more complicated than that. We should not categorize in general. Diversity is the only thing which is truly natural. People are saying that a man and women together is natural, but even in nature you can find homosexuality, Hermaphroditus and more.. but this is not the point. People have to stop being judgmental. Let everybody leave freely their life. Each one should do what is good for himself and nothing else matters. People should try to understand each other rather than to judge and categorize. In my country the so called "pious" people who think they know what is right and wrong, are asking woman to sit in the back of the bus, not to sing in public. They are the same who hate homosexuals, and every other person which is different, not from the same religion or people. I think we are today a new society, with less boundaries and some people are scared. But the judgmental people always lead the world to such bad places... and most of them are really the last one who have the right to. There is no such a thing as "normality", there is only respect, tolerance and understanding, that will lead us to a better world.
