Sonu ROCKED in 'Face the Music'! OMG!

😆Did any of u catch 'Face the Music' on NDTV yesterday.....Sonu came n OMG this man is TALENTED or wht!!!!

OK, this is a small update:
--Sonu said tht the songs tht r recorded these days r very easy for him to sing. The reporter asked him wht he means by a difficult song, so Sonu said difficult songs r lik: Lagaa Chunri Mein Daag, Madhuban mein Radhika (AMEy SANG BOTH OF THEM!👏👏) RDB (the one sonu sang...ARR composition)

--Then Sonu said his fav song in Fanaa is Dekho Naa n tht he's kinda upset tht it's not picked up lik he expected it to....infact Mere Haath Mein n chand Sifarish r more popular coz ppl prefer more rhythmic n DJ mixed kinda numbers.

--Then the reporter said tht no one can sing KHNH lik Sonu does....so SOnu said tht song suited his style of singin. So KUnal Kohli said tht Sonu is successful coz he has good knowledge abt the senior singers (lataji etc) unlik the upcoming singers

--He sang Mere Haath Mein n I swear the way he sings it sends shivers.....the echo of his voice👏

--n the best bit:

He imitated the singer who sang Piya Basanti re (he even did Chitra's voice😆😆😆) n then he did...

HIMESH RESHAMMIYA---he sang humko deewana kar gaye....LOL I swear IT WAS THE BEST IMITATION OF HIMESH!!😆😆😆 I couldnt stop laffing n I nvr liked this song so much before! n then he sang 'Allah ke bande' JSUT LIK KAILASH KHER....I swear if u close ur eyes u will think Kailash is singin.

Yup, Sonu is surely immensely talented, may God always bless him with loads of love, happiness n success. 😊 😊

they showed the repeat telecast already....at around 12o clock.....I jsut managd to watch the last segment of the repeat telecast.

Aww I missed tht too.. 😭 Thats wht comes of goin out on Sunday mornings.. 😛

I saw it yaar..In fact It wus just lucky...I was watchin NDTv coz dere rumours yersterday about Neha..So i saw it..Gr8 update..

U shud hear Sonu sing Madhuban me Radhika...he sang it in front of me...I wus backstage..and I almost fainted...

Yeah his take on Himesh wus MINDBLOWING!!!!!He left everyone in that studio in awe of his talent including Vir Sanghvi..He referred to Sonu as the awesome Sonu Niigamm after hearing all that...He wus like playbak singers are mostly heard but Sonu Niigaam has as much fan following as a top notch Bollywood Hero..HE IS DA BEST

Yeah I watched the episode on NDTV "Face The Music" it was amazing. I liked how he imitated everyone. 😆 😆 the way he sang like Khailash Kher was too good. I liked the style he put in while singing Himesh's Song, the way he puckered his lips and held the mike it was too funny. 😆 😆


I watched "Johny Ala Re" on Zee TV he was superb in that too, he imitated Uditji so well.


Sneha...... you shoul also watch some old episodes of Johny Ala Re. Sunidhi Chauhan does a take on Madhubala sining he facial expressions and the way Juhi Chawla, Karishma Kapoor and Lataji speak she was good too.

Yea he was terrific in Johny Ala Re. 😛 I agree on the popularity thing..singers are rarely as sought after and looked upto as far as the glamorous aspect of "popularity" goes. But then Sonu deserves all he gets, he is after all such a multi-faceted personality!

I wanted to c him imitate Himesh..he didnt do tht in Johny Ala re. 😉

Yeah he didnt..even I wanted to see him do Himesh..and I did..but u know he wus very restricted because it wus a news channel...He did the Himesh style totally but didnt be too loud(not as loud as Himesh is)...Sonu wus blushing 😳

Kunal forced him 2 start it and the audience wudnt let him stop..Even Vir Sanghvi cudnt stop laughing...The whole unit had fun yaar....Sonu didnt want to do it coz it wus NDTV
