Maya replies she was at her home and then only the prosecutor shows the statement by her servant which confirmed she was at home.
Verma is called and he reveals that Dr. Kapoor said it's his duty to bring the tape and he will bring it back even he has to kill Abhishek. The prosecutor gets a clue and she blames him yet again.
KD calls Deepika again and she still repeats she didn't kill her brother. She further reveals she saw Maya in her society.
After all these proceedings, KD says the liar will get hard punishment and calls Maya's servant who seems afraid at what KD said. He reveals he lied about Maya being at home. Maya appeared in the witness box and said she went there but didn't kill him.
After the continuation in these proceedings, the clock strikes 5 and the court is adjourned.
KD thinks about the case sitting in his office and visits the crime site with Varun. He gets a coat button and a paper.
Next day he reveals the button is of Verma and accuses him of being the killer. Verma rejects this and says he went away and didn't kill him. KD reveals about him and Vandana and calls her in the court. She appears in the witness box and accepts she knows Verma but at the same time fails to recognize Abhishek. KD asks her where was she at 8 PM? She replies she went to Bandra to attend a political function. KD reveals she was in the city and went to the society. He shows the paper which he got at the crime site and that was actually a bill which mentioned her location.
She accepts that she went to Abhishek's flat and overheard Verma saying she means nothing to him but Maya means. Since she loved Verma but he didn't, she killed Abhishek to trap him.
Vandana is arrested and Dr. Kapoor is freed.
