What did ASR expect from La?

Today ASR seemed shocked to see La all ready to go from RM. I did not understand. Did he expect her to stay even after they broke up?

I mean It seemed to me that he expected La to stay with him at RM without getting engaged, I mean AM I RIGHT OR WRONG?I thought he knows that after he told her about his feelings/NO feelings for her she is going to leave. Whats there to be so surprised about it?😕

I guess it just hit him that breaking up meant that Lavanya was leaving. He may have known it but it really is different knowing something and seeing it happen.

i guess he was surprised as she said she didnt want to tell people and then was packing up and leaving before the engagement...

I think he thought that they werent gonna tell which meant that she would stay back but then when he sees her packing he assumes that she wants to tell now or very soon :S
