EXIT !! Twin EXITS loomed large for the two interloper's ..while one had hard landing , another is headed for Soft landing !!..
A young, unworldly girl wholly confused about the course of action to take..Her naivete in almost believing Shyam's bare faced lies about the state of his relationship with Anjali.. but strongly but firmly knowing that Shyam is wrong in his actions ... A compassionate girl forced to take hard decision that might virtually destroy 4 lives and two houses ... muddled, addled, she goes to the only person who always tried to help her in her hour of need ...Devimayyaa !! ..She informs DM of the current situation.. informs the all knowing DM the impact her discovery will have on each relationships and to every poser DM replies with her TM Ring tone asking Khushi to repose faith in DM when finally a exhausted Khushi seeks DM's guidance, requests DM to show the way ... DM again patiently sets the RT rolling ..where to no one's astonishment is ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA !!
A Royally raging ASR who seemed to be sitting atop a hornets nest, such is his anxiety .. The moment she answers his phone... out gushes his words of love couched as anger sprinting out as if running to finish line hearing the Gun shot !! The words heard by Khushi, The emotions witnessed by Lavanya , who is listening quietly.. a faint stirring of knowledge that something is amiss in her Barbie land ...
While Khushi returns after her consultation with DM..Shyam has already done his spade work .. he has quite nobly notified the Gupta's about his pre existing Marital status ... Truly this Shyam is one conniving devil ...How neatly has he boxed the Gupta's into the corner !! He has come clean about himself but at the same time has tied the hands of the Gupta's by delicately hinting about Payal's impending wedding ...when the time of truth arrives as Shyam very well knows , it will..I can imagine Shyam, all wide eyed protesting his innocence ,'Yes !! Rani Saheba ...I did commit a mistake ...I was emotionally blackmailed into it using bauji ..But if the Gupta's are such a good lot, why did not they inform YOU ??why were they waiting for their Poor daughter to marry a rich Raizada ?? ""...OH Boy...Shyam has dug a trap ..will the Raizada's n Gupta's fall into it !! .
.A quick note of appreciation for keeping Garima in character ..her sketch is that of a woman who does not like to lose face in front of the society... and she would walk a mile to avert such unpleasant situations and she did the same today when she was all for maintaining the face than face the humiliation that Payal may face if her marriage breaks again.. but a huge round of applause for Buaji for firmly standing by the side of right !!...Also appreciated the quick interchange of glances between Bauji and Khushi when Shyam wheels Shashi in ...Khushi ; r u alright , Bauji... Bauji ; .. Do not fear.. all izz well ..no harm has been done...Khushi relaxing then..beautifully done by Sanaya n Shashi actor...
The lack of any significant and overt reaction was puzzling initially but when one realizes the elapsed time ,,then the low key reaction makes sense..The puja happened in the morning.. Shyam hurried to Gupta's house by Noon , spilled the beans leading to a furor ..and the the energy would have been spent by late evening when Khushi returns..
Naturally the last scene was the ultimate ... A man so out of love, not even remembering the approaching milestone , absent mindedly fixing a business meeting the very day he is supposedly getting engaged to the love of his life, his life partner ...But lets talk about that later, first lets go to the Business who is busily flipping through the papers , his eyes not scanning the papers, his mind far away , with Khushi ... A man who was wedded to Business , a dedicated workaholic is now unable to pay attention for even a sec...His mind constantly playing out the scene at the pool..his mind rankles at the thought that he might have hurt her by his rash words , he was not able to give the support that she needed & when phone rings..he cant even concentrate on the message being given by the caller and has to be repeated ... A shocking first for a guy with razor sharp mind who had very clearly n emphatically said that " Mujhe Baatein doharana pasand nahi hai " but now he himself needs baatein doharana ... he fixes the Business meeting on the very day of his engagement ...His Girl friend who had been silently following the conversation can hold herself no longer..she bursts out, wanting to confirm whether ASR was fixing the appointment for THE DAY ..A clueless ASR impatiently confirms ...which leads to a shocked outburst from Lavanya ..who is quite confused by the man who wants a early engagement one day and now does not even remember the event nor the date !!.. She seeks some form of avowal ..and Arnav tacitly admits that he has been in the wrong , he has hurt her many a times unintentionally .. he has regretted it ..A small smile of affection plays around Lavanya's lips..she brings up her hand , to ease his discomfort ..when she is stopped midway by the name of Khushi !!... Arnav was expressing his regret to Khushi !! ... Lavanya gently places her hands on ASR's shoulders, with immense dignity and quietly she states that she is Lavanya !!
If nothing else, Lavanya deserves a deeply felt apology from Arnav Singh Raizada ..for she has been used as a pawn in his games .. Agreed !! she stayed blind to all the things happening under her nose but she genuinely tried to change so that she may win the approval of Raizada family and she did win the approval of the family but lost her place in ASR's life !! ..Another wonderful thing would if Khushi were to realize that sometimes Things that are never meant to be should not be forced to conjoin ..She must also realize her God Playing will not divert the ultimate destiny..it just prolongs it ...Sometimes one must just accept what fate dishes out instead of trying to forestall it..Khushi must learn to accept things as they are and not as they should be ... It would be lovely if Khushi apologized too..that would completely enhance her character for me..
