Now, it seems that the channel has expressed its displeasure with certain scenes featuring a new entrant Priya Arya.
The actress has recently entered the show and plays Urmi, an unsophisticated dhaba owner who falls for the suave Veerendra Pratap Singh (played by Mohnish Behl).
She has to sport a nine yard sari with a knotted blouse sans a pallu to suit her character. Urmi is known for going out of her way to seek his attention and impress him.
It was apparently in one such scene that the cut of her blouse revealed more cleavage than permitted. Not surprisingly, it left the authorities in the channel squirming in their seats. And they immediately directed the team to re-shoot the scene… this time with sobriety.
When asked Arya, she confirmed the news saying, "Yes, there was this scene where I was lying on the bed pretending to be unwell trying to seek Veer's attention. I was supposed to get up with a jerk and while doing so, the blouse revealed a little too much. When the channel officials saw the tapes, they found it too bold for their guidelines and we had to re-shoot it."
Arya is also acting in the Tony and Deeya Singh's yet-to-be-launched Left Right Left. Incidentally in this serial too Arya sports a sexy look.
