This is basically a continuation of Thursday's episode. Here we go:
"You look gorgeous...tum itni khoobsurat kabhi nahin lagi, jitni aaj. Aaj chahe jitne bhi compliments de dhoon, sab kaam hai."
Kria stared back at Rey, stunned to hear his compliment. After a moment, an announcement for Rey and Kria's dance boomed through the speakers. Rey continued to stare at Kria, oblivious to the announcement but Kria tore her eyes away.
As she took a step back, she tripped on the curtain behind her and began to fall.
Before she could hit the ground, Rey's arms fastened around her waist and pulled her towards him. Kria still had her eyes tightly shut, not noticing that she had never hit the floor.
"Kria?" Rey said gently.
Kria slowly opened her eyes and found Rey looking back at her. She looked down to see her dupatta on the floor then looked back at Rey. Rey slowly brought Kria up to her feet, not moving his arms from her waist.
"Rey?" Kria said.
"Hmmm..."
"Rey!"
"Hmm, yeah! Yeah?" Rey moved his arms away from her waist.
"There has already been an announcement for us! We were supposed be on stage 5 minutes ago." Kria said, already starting to get hyper.
"Kria, relax. I'm sure they've already moved on by now. I'll contact somebody and have them move our dance further along in the program." Rey explained. "Kria'" He put a hand on her bare shoulder, trying to reassure her.
Kria froze and looked at the hand on her shoulder. Rey immediately realized what she was looking at. He removed his hand from her shoulder and looked away. Seeing the dupatta on the floor, he picked and up and wrapped it around her shoulders.
"Rey you haven't even changed yet!" Kria cried, starting to get hyper again. "Go!"
In order to calm Kria down this time, Rey ran his finger along the side of her face. First feeling her stiffen at the touch, then shiver as it travelled towards her jaw. When his hand reached her chin, he held the side of her face in his palm. He leaned in to the other side and kissed her softly on the cheek.
Kria closed her eyes, savouring the moment. Rey took a step back to see Kria's face and slowly removed his hand. Long after he left, Kria still had her eyes closed.
Rey reached the door of the changing room and looked back at Kria.
Just good friends baatcutter?
Rey smiled to himself and walked away. I don't think so.
I basically wrote this for lack of better things to do. I just can't stop thinking about Thursday's episode and the dance coming up on Monday! Hope you guys liked it though.
