@ Sona: Ker ker...vent ker...apna hi thread hai 😆
Coming to my take on the epi...hope u n ur partner n crime don't start pulling my leg again...i'm scared of u both now 🤣
Won't write abt Jeevika...Dabbu, Manvi...but will come straight to Virat!
I think i told this to u last night...i liked the bit where he says that I should be blamed for the whole thing...coz it was me who forced Manvi to perform. She had refused to do it..but I didn't listen to her. Not talking abt the details...that Beeji shud've been more responsible and see wat the kids were preparing...but yes...i liked how VIrat stood up n claimed the responsibility.
After that when he throws the ball in Swamini's court...by blaming her for Manvi's absense...there i got pissed off. And i told u na...i really liked how Swamini cut him off there n said...u can't jump to conclusions on the basis of incomplete info.
Now i kno why Virat didn't become a lawyer...temperament hi nahin hai, boss 🤣 He overheard the convo n gave the verdict...and that's when Swamini had to set the record straight for him.
So, i agree with you that the wasn't even the "m" of mannerisms there.
Vanshika..it would've been better if she stayed quiet...rather than say..."oh this is why Manvi hasn't come".
The person who really stood out for me..was Dadaji...just like he did in the sangeet ceremony. Simple n to the point...let bygones be bygones...coz it defo wasn't the time for all these things. And i really admire Swamini for agreeing to him...i don't think Virat said anything there...hain na??
I was updating while watching the epi...so cudn't watch the scenes..just heard them...but i'd wanna watch the Madan-Beeji one again...i like that man, coz thankfully, he speaks n is not just a dummy character (ishu...if u read this...i'm comparing him with the phamous mamaji) 😉🤣
Abt Viren...he must be singing..."mainnu ghodi kinney chadhaya..."🤣...or maybe, he's accepted this and believes in.."mushkilain itni padhein ke asaan ho gayein..."😉 But..i really wanna see him DO something now...its time for him to strike..and not just stand n see all sorts of tamashas on his wedding day! 😆

I'm writing this in a rush but LMAO @ the sappy dialogues! They were for sure with the heartbeat and zindagi parallels but you know what? I am a sap who loves this kind of cheesiness and I'm a HUGE sap when it comes to the sisters. I love this whole soulmate stuff and to see it between a non-romantic pair makes it more fresh and kind of heart-tugging! I want more of these sappiness because they do as a matter of fact define JM's relationship.

I was totally not making a dig at Virat😆 but its just me.. I come across a little strong worded for things that put me off.. bad behavior is like bad odor in my dictionary.. just cant handle it.. esp with elders.. like I said tht kinda snarkiness wld be shown the door by my folks at any given point and time.. in spite of how old or independent I am.. I am glad you see sense in it.. the whole forum seemed to have missed this basic point of good manners represent good upbringing in their enthusiasm of Virat's gesture which was defo noble.. the implementation is what was rather childish..

thanks for the compliment tho.. appreciate it.. wld try to write as and when I find a connect with something..😃

I stopped trying to make sense of the way soaps go about stuff reaaally long ago...am reaaally clumsy but I've never fallen into a guys arms(I'm not even going to bother adding the adjective good looking!)...Or my clothes don't have a mind of their own...Or I can't look at myself for more than 10 seconds so the question of having looong eyelocks doesn't really come into picture!

In real life...Talking like that to my aunt would have been a death knell..Actually I don't think I'd even have the guts to...So ya the manners were lacking! But then that's where the fiction comes into play...
Viraat can show bad manners and get away with it...Well he almost did till you drove sense into us...hehe!

And you come across as somebody really sensible tou I hope you find something which you can connect with...hehe:)

First of all, thanks for commenting, Priyanka.
I really respect your POV. Difference of opinion is the pre-req of healthy discussions...and it makes them all the more interesting. So, i'm glad that u wrote ur take here.
I agree with you on the point that a lil bit of ups n downs do happen on weddings...and one should not take them to the heart as such. BUT...there is a limit to everything. Anything n everything cannot be done in the name of fun.
I believe that Manvi crossed the line on the sangeet ceremony. It wasn't humorous...there wasn't the element of "fun" there...it was a direct, personal attack on Dadaji..as well as Swamini. Kudos to Dadaji who didn't utter a word and sat through the entire thing.
Coming to Swamini...as per me...she handled the whole situation with a lot of dignity. Her convo with Virat n then Beeji..she wasn't rude, she wasn't harsh...but YES, she doesn't want a repeat of all this in future...and can't see every xyz person saying weird things abt her family. I don't think anyone in her place...could have just smiled sitting there n getting insulted...so, I support her completely there.
If i remember correctly, she didn't publicly humiliate anyone 😕 And to make it a point that she doesn't do so..she walked from there. The matter was talked abt in private...b/w her n Virat n then...her n Beeji. In fact...in that skit..the Vadera's were humilitaed in front of their guests
Abt Beeji...yes...she over reacted, maybe coz she doesn't want any hitch in the wedding. In yest's epi...she herself admitted that what she did was wrong...but it was HER way of dealing with the issue.

Maanvi...Yes she crossed the limit in the latter part of the performance...I did not think that was fun either

Swamini...When i say dignity I mean the way dada ji handled it...I know each person is different and so is their way of handling stuff...
By walking away Swamini just put the rubber stamp on the fact that she felt humiliated...She could have called a family panchayat(copyright Sonali) after the guests had left!
Also her convos were dignified...But then she has a certain bias against Maanvi and I have one against her...sigh! I wish I could be as objective...Hehe

Beeji...For me the culprit...The night she conveyed her a decision to Maanvi I made a post about how unreal and unjustified it seemed...

I might sway on the other two issues but for me Beejis decision always remains one of haste and lack of judgement!
