" Some women are not meant to be tamed. They are meant to run free until they find someone as wild as them to run with them." ( Sex and the City).

^This in two lines sums up the reason that I have taken to Manveer in mere three scenes of a show that I do not watch but just skim through 'coz my Mom is here with me for a vacation and she watches it. I have seen it in bits and pieces and my liking and my opinion is simply based on that.

What is it that works for me in Manveer? Uday's good looks and his badass side? No. Aakash is super goodlooking, charming and who doesn't like a man who is nice to a lady? Hmm. Then, ManVeer's chemistry? Yes and no. Chemistry doesn't seep beyond sexual tensions and momentary fireworks. Then, is it because ManVeer look like two sides of the same coin and are actually each-other's mirrors? Maybe.

So, what is it that works for ManVeer but not Manaksh?

I guess this. Did you see Uday throwing stones into the sea when he almost hit Monu? Then, did you see Uday play the badass to Monu in the pub? Then, did you see the Uday revel in designer dreams of power and reign?

Did you see Monu go crazy over her Dad like a lamb? Did you see Monu pounce at Uday like a tigress? Do you sense the bird itching to break free and feel the sunshine in Monu?

Point being that Monu and Uday are not opposites. They are mirror images of each-other. Uday may have conditioned himself or fed himself to the dreams of a crown but there is a boy inside him who roams at a beach listlessly not knowing what he wants. He is grey and he sees the reflection of his own temper and stubbornness in Monu. She is a challenge to him because she is his own version in many ways in another gender.

And Monu? Uday unleashes something raw and powerful in her - giving you a hint of who and what she really is. The wildchild that she is, a sophisticated version of her own temper in Uday intimidates her , calms her , tames her and yet provokes the powermatic woman in her. Lets say Uday brings out the raw Monu and even tests her might.

In short, ManVeer are toxic to each-other on the surface but when you look again, they unleash a totally different personality in each-other. That is what gives layers to their equation and pulls out a raw human being from their characters.

ManVeer may or may not happen , but its an equation that both excites and gives you an insight into what bad-tempered people really are behind the glares and threats.

As for Aakash, he is a great guy but his character has not been worked upon. Good people also need a nuanced intelligent characterization so that they don't come out flat. Goodness has angles and shades and one hopes that it is done to Aakash. Monu and Aakash are lovely and feel-good but we have not seen any contours and play to their relationship.

And just to get it straight in the head of detractors who believe that bad guys are shipped because they are "hot", I am someone who ships sweet love stories as well - like Dan/Blair in GG, Stefan and Elena in TVD.Good Stefan is my guy opposed to the hot and bad Damon. Its all about what clicks for you and you don't have to humiliate choices of others just because they are different from yours.

PEACE.

Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗

^Naz, the point is that do we even know who Uday is behind all this powerplay? We have had just 3 scenes of ManVeer and we are yet to have his character properly unraveled.

Beautiful post.

And i agree when u say Akash's character is not well worked upon while Uday's character has been given a lot of layers. He is intelligent, witty, Ambitious, but somewhere he is still grounded.

i mainly ship ManVeer because somewhere i see the intrigue factor between them. as you said she is a challenge to him. even previously Unnati says to Uday tat you need a girl challenging enough to you. Manayata is a mystery box to Uday. i guess tat works for me.

Thank you. I guess that is what works for me as well in a way. Uday and Monu are life's shocks to each-other - more like tests of fire and you do want to know if they will destroy each-other or will help each-other find who they truly are.

Hi everybody...started following the serial and this forum lately...I like the high drama and the fast progress of this soap...

My guess about the future...
Manyata, being the untamed princess will not be abide by the rules and go for her 1st crush that is Akash...now Uday veer will never be ready to accept Jay Nandini in presence of Manyata...which will make Jay insane, she will opt for taking a revenge by snatching the love of her sister that is taking Akash under her whims...this way Manyata-Uday love story will move forward...none the less Akash's money-minded parents will help in this process...

thanks Pink Chocolate for such a nice write-up...loved to read it👏

Wow u actually managed to put forth the actual essence of this new lead pair...
Indeed they are reflections of each other but in opposite genders...with uday having the power to curb muniya's ..

Loved these lines
Uday unleashes something raw and powerful in her - giving you a hint of who and what she really is. The wildchild that she is, a sophisticated version of her own temper in Uday intimidates her , calms her , tames her and yet provokes the powermatic woman in her. I utterly enjoyed your post and agree with you. I sail the ManVeer ship b/c I love Uday. He's all dark and twisty, but he still has glimpses of pain and feelings, but he suppresses all of that under designer clothes, hot cars, and manly urges towards beautiful women.

He doesn't have that girl that can tame him (i loved how you used the word tame...YAY!) and Manyata is IT!

As for Akash, I think his character has been rushed and that angle went too fast--so I couldn't enjoy. I love sweet love stories too, but when there's hot and sexy--I chose that over warm and fuzzy.

In real life, I'm sure I would be the opposite--I like playing it safe. But not a gal like Manyata!😆
