After the bitter-sweet fate of Mausam, tinsel town's chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor, has been absent from the

However, now back to the grind, Shahid has been reviewing a stack of scripts to get back to the big screen. One of which, belongs to ace filmmaker Satish Kaushik who wants to plan a movie away from his regular genre. The director is said to be planning a movie in the paranormal genre, more specifically, a vampire film series - a catch trend in the eastern world. The venture is said to be based on Shantanu Dhar's book, The Company Red.
According to a close source, the actor has expressed a curiosity in the role but hasn't inked his approval yet. Meanwhile, Shahid is currently busy filming Kunal Kohli's untitled movie with Priyanka Chopra.
Being an ace in portraying different characters, lets see if Shahid can do justice to this role if he decides to take it up!
