I don't understand how people say deepika isn't an outsider. She is an outsider. She was a model before so is the people that you call Outsiders like Akshay kumar, Anushka sharma and etc... has a been a model too. She has a father who played sports...sports and films are two different things. Deepika is an outsider whether you beliver it or not. She don't have a filmy background, she don't have a father or bother or sister who is an actor.

^^^ true .. i consider models - deepika , anushka etc .. outsiders ...

I dont feel they have got a free ticket to bollywood .. they had to work very hard to make a name for themselves in modelling and get noticed by the b'town folks ...

SRK is an outsider also. Yeah he got to work with Yash Raj in he's first few movies but it wasn't easy. They gave him negative roles because they thought he wasn't good looking enough to be a hero. He had hit movies. If he had back to back flops, they would've not offered him roles. But star kids are given more chances. They can give 15 flops in a role and have that one hit movie where they shine and still stay around. But with a person who don't have a filmy background, they don't give them that many chances
