There is nothing wrong in being Negative!

I don't know why some of my dear friends on i-f make posts saying that "no negativity" blah blah speech?

Agree, if we are not liking something then it doesnt mean we are negative...we love ghsp a lot n we can never think negative abt it...yes, a lot of things do disappoint n we do criticise, yeah criticising doesnt mean that we start bashing but that doesnt mean we cant give our opinion...
I dont understand if we criticise something how will it be fatal for our show...who from the PH will read it...??? Or even if they read so does it matter them...?? Lol

We come to the forum to discuss abt the show, epi n the actors...and we'll discuss abt what we feel...we dont have to pretend...atleast this is not the time to pretend...

@Nina, exactly i am not saying OK PEOPLE be negative cry cry cry...hate hate hate...all i am askin for to allow people to say what it was about the show that they didn't like...that they found to be negative...negativity at some levels is fine...that should not be stopped...i mean we have some people that go overboard...and i stay away from those kinds...but i at times do not like certain episodes...but at times i don't say it because i feel like i will be bashed...and i will be forced to like it!!!

We are not saying that all the time a person has to be positive and all are episodes will be good...everyone has the right to express themselves and their views but there were posts which said to shut down Geet and also some posts even bash Gurti commited to the show
some even went to FB to say that the episode was really bad...they asked PH to shut the show as they are not doing a good job

i know we have the right to tell our views about Geet but not bash it as everything has a limit to it

and on top of that...we all have to be really careful of what we say as we all know that Geet is still not safe yet and will it or not continue on StarDesh

You have a very good point.

And I would like to also add that criticism of the show, the execution, the performances, the writing, the direction etc comes from the same place of love that blind love for it does. When you love something you do not want to see it ruined beyond all recognition and that is what criticism of the show is all about.

Also. being open with your criticism can sometimes have very real results. I can't be 100% sure that it was because of our outburst on Friday, but I could see the execution improve significantly on Monday and Tuesday, with Vikram's sleeves rolled up when he offered Geet water so there was actually a moment of doubt as to whether it might be Maan.

If we don't criticise we are only digging our own, and the show's graves because it will only get worse without some feedback to improve what is unacceptable.

Now if only our negative feedback on the circus would work. 🤔

Yup I agree when we say something we don't like about the episode It is never a negetive one. Friday's episode did dissapoint me but I cmommented on different post what I feel exactly That's how we try to give feed backs. It our fav show,we don't want others who don't watch the show say something wrong or derogatory abt the show. so we have a full right to disect and discuss about the show without bashing charecters and actors and share our POV.

Now, that's the very reason I don't come to the forum much or post a response in other members' threads.

Having an opinion contrary to others' tends to make one persona non grata here. So, I consider it best not pen down anything.

What surprises me is the naivete of some people here who actually live in belief that the Channel or the Ph would shut shop if negative comments abound.

If our opinions really mattered, we'd have seen Dev remain a sinner and get his just desserts and the Circus Party would have been history many moons ago. These are the two worst things that affected the show in the long run, in my opinion.

But, did we get what we wanted?

In a nutshell, negativity will not be the reason to force the end of the show. The colour of money or the lack thereof, would be the motivating factor behind the show ending.

The forum exists so that people from all walks of life can meet in this virtual world and share their opinions and hold discussions. These opinions will differ. That's the fun of it all.

Unfortunately, immaturity and lack of knowledge of basic economics tend to work against the idea and this results in the mess the forum often times becomes.

Agree with u dear..if we didn't like the epi and tell it here it doesn't mean we don't love it anymore just want it to improve for its betterment..i wish ppl could realise that stating ur views is not a negative thing..may be once the makers will pay heed to it and improve accordingly..thanks for this post..
