Krutika: Wot! Me, granny?

Along with Chhavi Mittal, Krutika Desai too has quit Tumhari Disha (Zee). Today, both Mittal and Desai will be seen for the last time in it.

The show has pushed the fast-forward button by 25 years and Krutika was averse to playing grandmother to a 25 year old. When the production company (Film Farm) and the channel (Zee) firmly decided that the leap was inevitable, Krutika made it clear to both that she would not continue.

Says Krutika, "I thought that Gargi's character was over and done. Gargi had lived her character. There was not much left in it. I didn't want to continue doing the same thing," Kruttika Desai, who is leaving for Israel on a holiday with her husband Imtiaz, talked about Chhavi's exit also.

Producer Rupali Guha revealed that the spotlight will now shift on Poonam Joshi (Mahek of Ekta Kapoor's Kahin To Hoga) who will enter the show as DK's (Ashish Nayyar) second wife.

Oh no,gargi too is leaving the show.Now,nothing is left for us to watch really except of course Dk...
I think this show will be soon asked to wrap up !

I think Chavi and Krutika both need to grow up and get serious with their proffession cos I think it's just pathetic!!!

In a way I agree that there was nothing much for Gargi to do nowadays....she is forever plotting to split 2Ds...now that it is done...what will she do?...she was beginning to look bored and disinterested..

I feel if the story can not involve the charcters in a meaningful way...then it is better for the characters to leave the show..I wonder how Gargi's character exits...disha dies ...what happens to Gargi?

anyway...if the actors do not want to continue...they should be allowed to leave...

I wonder who is going to play the negative role now in TD...it must be Rano...or is Rupu going to make Ved negative again?

I am intersted to know how this second marriage of DK came about? DK did not marry for love...so what happened?

Thanks for the information....I have no comments...what has happened is very sad for me...if TD had ended it would have caused me less distress than Chavvi's leaving.

I totally agree Parveen id rather have watched a good ending together with all the ecurrent charcaters. TD has no meaning now with this new storyline, I can't see much of a decent serial now.

This is the only serial i watched and loved but I don;t think ill be ever watching it.

Hey I won't be surprised if AN ended up quitting this show!!!!!

If AN quits..TD will end that day itself. 😆
