Arjun picked up his phone and dialed a number. 'There is only one person who can help me right not.' Thought Arjun. He waited for the caller to pick up the phone. "Heeellooo" said a sleepy voice from the other side of the phone. Arjun took a deep breath and said in one go "Dad wants me to get married." There was a silence for few moments then Arjun frowned when he heard laughter from the other side. "HA HA HA HA" the person from other side was laughing nonstop and then said "I thought you had gone there for a vacation, you didn't tell me that you are going there for your own wedding." The person laughed and then added teasingly "You should not lie yaar Arjun, this is not fair." And the person laughed more. "Dhruv!!" Arjun said in a serious tone. The person on the other side, Dhruv sensed the seriousness in his voice, he calmed himself down and then asked in a serious tone "What is it Arjun?" Arjun sighed and said "I can't get married Dhruv" "Why is that so? As far as I know you don't love or like anyone, moreover you don't even have a girlfriend, you didn't even have one in past. Then why are you saying so?" asked Dhruv. "I don't know Dhruv; I don't know." Arjun said hesitantly. Dhruv sighed and then said "What are you scared of Arjun?" "I'm not scared Dhruv, I just don't know." Said Arjun. "You are scared Arjun, you are scared of getting into a relationship. You always runaway from this." said Dhruv. "I'm not running away Dhruv, you know my lifestyle, and I'm always stuck up in the office. How will I manage a wife?" Said Arjun. "You do that on purpose Arjun, you always keep yourself busy, you always run away from people who try to come close to you. It's just few of us with whom you talk or go out with that to sometimes we have to force you for that. I've told you before also that we hate to see you like this but you being stubborn will not listen to us. You know what keep running away." Dhruv said angrily. "I have not called you to fight with you Dhruv, I called so that I can get some help, I can get some advice from you, but you have completely shifted from the main topic and is in full mood of fighting with me." Said Arjun, even he was angry now. Dhruv sighed "I'm sorry, you just gave a stupid reason saying you'll not get married because of your life style so I could not stop myself. Okay now tell me what uncle said?" asked Dhruv. Arjun narrated the conversation which he had with Rudra to Dhruv.
"He's right on his part Arjun; he's your father and is worried about you. Think from his point of view. You stay here completely alone, without a family." Said Dhruv. "I'm not alone you guys are there, you guys are my family." Said Arjun defending himself. "Arjun" Dhruv sighed and then added. "Ya, we are there with you Arjun and we are your family I'm not denying but at the end we are your FRIENDS. In the end of the day when you get back home you are alone, at that time we are not there for you. What you need now is a life partner Arjun, a life partner who will be known as your WIFE, a person who will share your happiness and sorrows both with you, who will be there for you when you'll need someone by your side at any time, who will be waiting for you when you'll get back home, whom you can introduce to everyone as your own and who will LOVE you unconditionally. Love which you did not get till now Arjun." Dhruv paused and then added "It's time to break the walls which you have built around your heart. Let that one person come into your life Arjun, don't run away this time." Dhruv explained to Arjun. "And no one is telling you to go and get married tomorrow itself okay and marriage is a big process dude, it takes time. Think about it at the end it's your decision but according to me you should get married, you need someone by your side Arjun" concluded Dhruv.
Arjun thought for a moment and said "I think you are right, I'll think about it." Dhruv sighed of relief and said "Thank God!! dude you made a moral science lecturer, good that I'm at home nahi toh mere image ki toh band baj jaati." Arjun chuckled listening to Dhruv. "Okay now tell me how's everyone at home?" asked Dhruv. "Dad and Neev, both are happy to see me." Said Arjun. Dhruv listened to Arjun, he wanted to ask about Kumud, but he knew how their relationship is so he immediately dismissed the thought. "So enjoying? Chandigarh ki koi kudi se nahi mila?" asked Dhruv teasingly. As Arjun heard Dhruv say 'Chandigarh ki Kudi' the girl with whom he collided came in his mind. "Well, there is one girl." Said Arjun. There was a silence until Dhruv spoke "Huh? I beg your pardon? I can hear things, can you please repeat what you just said?" asked a shocked Dhruv. "You've heard that right mate." Said Arjun. "Wow!!! I mean THE ARJUN SINGHANIA likes a girl? It's a news man." Said Dhruv, trying to digest the fact. "I didn't say I like her okay, I'm just trying to say that I met a girl, not met actually I collided with her TWICE." Said Arjun. "Wait a second, you collided with the same girl TWICE?" asked Dhruv. "Yes" said Arjun and told him both the incidents.
"And now that girl is not leaving your mind?" asked Dhruv. "Yeah, and it's all because of Neev he kept on teasing me after that incident." Said Arjun while Dhruv cut him off in between "Stop blaming Neev, poor guy. Arjun you are attracted to that girl." "What Rubbish" said Arjun. "No dude seriously, she is the first girl who have captured your mind and it's not Neev's fault even we tease you many times with some or the other girls but you never gave a damn about it." Said Dhruv. "Okay fine let's not talk about it." Said Arjun. "No its not okay fine, try to find about that girl." Said Dhruv. "And how will I do that?" asked Arjun and then added "but there was something about that girls eyes, I guess I saw pain in those eyes." "You noticed this much by just colliding with her?" Dhruv was shocked he then added "Well if your destiny wants you'll meet her again." "Hmmm" said Arjun.
"Okay its quite late I think we should sleep now. And Arjun think about the marriage thing." Said Dhruv. "Ya I will." Said Arjun. "Okay then bye" said Dhruv. "Umm, Dhruv?" said Arjun. "Yeah?" said Dhruv. "Thanks buddy." Said Arjun. "Bas Kya? Now you'll thank me? Yahi Dosti, Yeh Pyaar, Beech mein aa gai THANK YOU ki deewaar." Said Dhruv, in a filmy way. Arjun laughed listening to Dhruv. "Acha mere baap, nahi bolta Thank You, Chal abb bye, goodnight." Said Arjun. Dhruv chuckled and said "Goodnight, sweet dreams about that girl." Said Dhruv and before Arjun could say anything Dhruv cut the call.
Arjun shook his head smilingly. He was very relieved after talking to Dhruv. He lay down on his bed and thought about what Rudra and Dhruv said. 'I think they are right. I'll tell Dad that I'm ready for the marriage and if I don't like the girl I'll not marry her.' Thought Arjun and was soon asleep.
Arjun woke up late in the morning he took shower and went down to talk to his Dad, but Rudra had left for the office early. Arjun had his breakfast and left for the office to talk to Rudra. When he reached there, Rudra was attending a meeting so Arjun was asked to wait. After waiting for two hours Arjun finally got a chance to speak to Rudra.
Arjun went inside Rudra's cabin. "Come Son" said Rudra. Arjun smiled and greeted his Dad and said "I want to talk to you Dad." Rudra sent his P.A out who was there in the cabin. "Tell me" said Rudra. "Dad I thought about what you said last night and I'm ready for It." said Arjun. Rudra smiled widely hearing to his Son. "And before you ask I don't like or love any girl, I am very much single. So you'll have to look for a girl but if I don't like her or I think I cannot spend my entire life with her then I'll not marry her." Said Arjun, clearing the facts. Rudra nodded and said "I'll not force you, it will be your choice, I'll just look for a girl. Final decision will be completely yours." Said Rudra and added "I'm happy that you thought about it and I'll try to find perfect girl for you." Arjun smiled and then hugged his Dad.

It's been a week now and Rudra could not find a perfect girl for Arjun. He's on the way to his office along with his best friend and partner in a project as he wanted to talk to Rudra. "Rudra, I wanted to talk about Arjun's marriage." Said his friend Ramesh. Rudra immediately looked at his friend and asked him to continue. "You must have heard about Arvind Ahluwalia, owner of Ahluwalia Publications." Rudra nodded, Ramesh continued "My niece Purvi, is married to his Son, Salil Ahluwalia and few days back I met her at a family gathering and she told me that they are looking for a boy for her sister-in-law, Arohi. I spoke to her and got as much as detail I can. She is the type of girl you are looking for Arjun, I'm sure she'll keep Arjun happy. If you want I can fix a meeting with them." "There is no harm in meeting the girl, you fix the meeting rest will be up to Arjun." Said Rudra. "I'll talk to them and will fix the meeting." Said Ramesh

Arohi woke up with a shudder from her afternoon nap. She was breathing heavily. She had a bad dream about Vikram forcing her. It's been a week since the meeting with Vikram, he had said no for the marriage and even Arvind did not force her. But Vikram was not leaving her in her dreams, it's not the first time she had a bad dream about Vikram. In past one week she used to get up in the middle of the night because of bad dreams about him. Arohi also met two more guys and Purvi would accompany her for the meetings. The guys used to be very friendly and nice in front of Arohi and Purvi but when Salil would enquire about them there would be some or the other problem with them.
Arohi got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. She washed her face with cold water and came out. She went and stood by the window looking outside and admiring the evening beauty. She stood there the whole evening until Purvi came to call her for dinner. "Arohi" said Purvi standing at the door. Arohi turned around and looked at Purvi. "Come and have dinner." Said Purvi and kept on looking at Arohi. Her face was pale; eyes were red and looked like she has also lost some weight. Arohi followed Purvi till the dining table. Salil and Arvind were already seated. Arohi sat on the chair besides Purvi.
Arvind looked up from his plate and glanced at Arohi. He then looked at Purvi and said "Purvi, your uncle, Ramesh had called up." Purvi got a little worried hearing that. Arvind then continued "He'd called up to say that his friend Rudra Prataap Singhania is looking for a girl for his elder son Arjun Singhania. He wants Arohi to meet them. I have said yes and we all will be going to meet them tomorrow for lunch. Make her wear good clothes." "Business tycoon Rudra Prataap Singhania?" asked Salil to which Arvind nodded his head. "Son of a business tycoon, he will be a spoilt brat for sure." Salil murmured. "What did you say?" Asked Arvind. "Nothing, one thing I will clear out first, if that boy is not suitable for Arohi, she'll not marry him. She'll meet him tomorrow but you'll not finalize anything until I don't say a yes." Said Salil. "My son has become my enemy." Said Arvind shaking his head. Salil was about to say something but Purvi signaled him to remain quite so that the rest of the dinner goes in peace.
Arohi went to her room after the dinner was over. She changed into her night wear and lay down on the bed thinking about tomorrow. 'I hope the boy is good and even bhai likes him, I don't like bhai fighting with Dad because of me.' She silently prayed to God and tried to sleep she did not want the boy to reject her because of her looks. Not that she cares but now she does not want her Dad to say that she was not looking good because of that the boy rejected her and she did not want Salil to fight with Arvind over this issue. She'll try to be her best, she thought and was soon asleep.

Arjun and Neev were playing chess when Rudra came and sat with them. "He's a big cheater Arjun be careful" said Rudra pointing towards Neev. Neev frowned and then said "Just because I won 1 game against you, you have started calling me a cheater." Said Neev looking at Rudra he then looked at Arjun "I don't cheat bro" Neev said shaking his head like a child. Rudra and Arjun chuckled looking at Neev. "Not with you at least" Neev mumbled. "I heard that." Said Arjun pointing towards Neev. Neev showed tongue to Arjun and Arjun burst out laughing looking at Neev's childish behavior.
"Okay sons, I want to talk to you both." Rudra said. Neev and Arjun looked at Rudra asking him to continue. "We have to go out for lunch tomorrow" said Rudra, he then looked at Arjun and continued "Ramesh has suggested a girl for you, according to him, she'll be suitable for you and we are going to meet her and her family tomorrow." "Will I be coming with you?" asked a curious Neev and then added "Even I want to meet my would be bhabhi." "Oh course you'll be coming with us." Said Rudra. Neev got exited and said "I'll even ask Mom to accompany us." "Umm Neev I spoke to your Mom, she is not coming she has go somewhere and she cannot cancel that." Said Rudra. Neev nodded and sat back on the chair.
"Who's the girl?" asked Arjun. Rudra smiled at Arjun and asked "Have you heard about Arvind Ahluwalia?" "The owner of Ahluwalia Publications?" asked Arjun. Rudra nodded his head and said "We are going to meet his daughter Arohi Ahluwalia. Actually Arvind Ahluwalia's daughter-in-law, Purvi Ahluwalia is Ramesh's niece." Arjun nodded his head and thought 'Arohi, the name sounds good; I hope the girl is also good.' Thinking about Arohi, Arjun again thought about the girl with whom he collided. He came out his thoughts when he heard Neev say "Come out of the dream land bro, we still haven't met her." Neev then looked at Rudra and said pointing towards Arjun "Look at him, before the meeting he's like this, what will happen once he'll meet her." Neev saw Arjun getting up from his chair and he himself got up quickly from his chair and ran for his life. Rudra laughed looking at both his sons. He also had happy tears in his eyes looking at them. He just wished that both his sons always be happy.

Purvi was helping Arohi get ready. Arohi wore a peacock green and navy blue color anarkali. She wore matching jhumka's in her ear, a simple silver chain in her neck and did minimal makeup which includes kohl and a little eye shadow. "You are looking beautiful Arohi" said Purvi putting a black mark behind Arohi's ear. Arohi smiled faintly. She looked beautiful but her eyes still show the pain which did not go unnoticed by Purvi. "Let's go" said Purvi and both Arohi and Purvi along with Salil and Arvind left to meet the Singhania's.
On the other hand Arjun was having a hard time with Neev. This was the fifth time Neev made Arjun change his shirt. Arjun came out wearing a Black Shirt over dark blue denim jeans. "I'm not going to change again; I don't care if the shirt looks awesome or awful so you better keep your mouth shut and stop behaving like a kid." Said an irritated Arjun to Neev. Neev immediately shut his mouth listening to Arjun. Arjun spiked his hair with gel and wore a white jacket over his shirt. "Let's go, Dad must be waiting and keep your mouth shut." Arjun shouted at Neev. Neev pouted and followed Arjun. "No one cares for me, I just wanted to say that the shirt was looking very nice but why do they care." Mumbled Neev. Arjun smiled hearing to Neev and said "I heard that." He paused and then added "Thanks."

Rudra asked the manager about the table where the Ahluwalia's were waiting for them. He then moved towards the table and asked to the man who seemed to be in his late 40's "Arvind Ahluwalia?" Arvind nodded and stood up. "I'm Rudra Singhania." Said Rudra. "Hello Mr. Singhania." Said Arvind and looked behind Rudra 'Where is the boy' thought Arvind. Seeing Arvind, Rudra assumed what he must be thinking and said "My sons have gone to park the car they'll be here soon." Arvind nodded and asked Rudra to have a seat. Arvind then introduced his family to Rudra. Rudra looked at Arohi and wanted her to be his daughter-in-law. Her innocence didn't go unnoticed by Rudra and she reminded him of his wife Savita.
Arjun and Neev entered the restaurant and moved towards the table where they saw their Dad seated with four people who were the Ahluwalia's. Rudra saw his both son's coming and said "Here they are." He then pointed towards Neev and introduced him. Neev greeted them respectfully. Rudra then introduced Arjun "And he my elder son Arjun." Listening to the name Arjun, Arohi instantly looked up and saw Arjun. Arjun shook hands with Arvind and Salil and then looked at Arohi and was stunned.
