Sorry for the delay!! 😳
Arnav seemed to be angry about something. Khushi even caught him scowling, and when asked what was wrong, he just shook his head, still frowning. Khushi saw that Rangamma had been working too much, after she had come here. She took pity on her, as she handed her some food, and told her to take rest.
After the maid went out of the kitchen, Arnav practically hopped to Khushi's side. Khushi glanced at him, wondering how his mood had changed so drastically. He stood behind her, and put his arms around her. Khushi clucked her tongue impatiently, and telling, "Let me cook, Arnav!" Arnav stiffened. "You know what?? Do whatever you want!!" he told her angrily and strode out to the living room. She smiled as she prepared few paranthas, and took them along with the curry on a plate.
Arnav couldn't help as he felt anger rise in him. He didn't look at her, for the fear that his anger may ebb. He told her to do whatever she wanted, and came out, to sit on the couch. He flicked through the TV channels, not really watching anything.
Khushi held a piece of parantha in front of his face, and he bent his head to watch from around her. "Arnav. . ." she said, to get his attention. He looked up at her, and he had been right. His anger went out of the window, just at the sight of her face, smiling sweetly at him. 'I can at least pretend to be angry!' he thought, and told her he wasn't hungry anymore. "You won't eat even if I feed you?" Khushi started to coax him. Arnav looked at her hand holding the morsel and at the TV uncertainly, and snatched the morsel with his teeth, in the process, grazing his teeth over her fingers. Khushi gasped.
"Do you still want to feed me, Khushi Kumari Gupta?" Arnav's husky voice challenged. Khushi stared at him, her lower lip in between her teeth, as she tore one more piece and held it in front of him. This time, Arnav gently nipped her fingers as he took the morsel into his mouth. Khushi sighed and, lowered her eyelids to look at the plate, a small smile tugging at her lips. Arnav smiled, wondering if even his garden reduced his temper this effectively. "You know, I could easily get used to this. . . ." He said, pointing to her feeding him. Khushi shrugged and said, "Get used away. . . ." They ate the rest of the food, with questions flying from both sides, trying to learn as much as possible about their other halves, and answering each other's questions.
That evening, Arnav took Khushi to the branch of his boutique in Bangalore, which provided his customers, not only with his designs, but also, clothes and accessories of other famous brands.
While Arnav talked to the manager of that place, Khushi roamed around in awe. She had never felt that clothes were so important until now. For the first time, clothes appealed to her, especially in the aisle where Arnav's designs hung.
Arnav gifted her, a few of his own creations, and a few of others, ignoring the fair amount of her objection from her. Finally, she agreed to take only his designs.
As Arnav drove towards her place, following her directions, she got a call from Payal.
"Khushi, where are you? Is Arnav with you?" she asked. Khushi's eyes went round with shock, and she said "Arnav??!!" Arnav guessed what Payal may be asking Khushi. He squeezed her knees to make her look at him, and he nodded, telling her to say yes. Khushi looked at him in bewilderment, as she said, "No jiji!! What would he be doing here??"
"Achcha?? Then may be the plane which he boarded, to come and see you, didn't take off at all. Oh no, wait! It did! I know because I stood there watching the plane leave!! You're lying to me?! Didn't you ever wonder how he reached you!?" Payal asked.
Khushi winced and pretended to bang her head on Arnav's shoulder, as he laughed quietly. "Sorry jiji! But you're the best jiji anybody could get!!" Khushi tried to make it up, wondering how she had never thought of how Arnav had caught of her in Bangalore.
"Woh tho hai. . ." Payal said, in a casual tone, and both sisters giggled. Arnav smiled as he listened to the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.
As Arnav sat on the couch, concentrating on the news, Khushi came and sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. He instinctively put his hand at her knee. When he was done with his news, he turned to find Khushi fast asleep, hugging his arm. Arnav smiled as he slowly put her head against the pillow on the couch. He got a rug from one of the room and put it over her, and kissed her nose, before he went and slept on the other couch.
Khushi woke after a few hours as she was feeling thirsty. She was surprised to see the rug on her. Her eyes searched around for Arnav, and found him sleeping uncomfortably on the other couch, and she scolded herself for making him sleep like this. She went to the kitchen, drank water, and woke him up in a soft voice.
Arnav woke up rubbing his eyes, questioning why she had woken him. When she took his hand and pulled him to a room, Arnav pushed her on the bed, before sleeping himself, using her as his pillow.
Khushi woke up to find Arnav talking to someone on phone, giving stern orders, in an arrogant voice, as if he owned the person he was talking to. Once he saw that Khushi was awake, he sat next to her, and Khushi put her head on his lap, and he started stroking her hair gently. His voice not so stern and arrogant now. He cut the call and told her, "Get ready. . . We'll be leaving for Delhi soon. . ."
And she got up, snuggling into him. Arnav smiled at the adorable thing in his arms, as he hugged her tight, making a mental note about her, in amusement. 'Needs some time to PROPERLY wake up!!'
When they reached Khushi's parents' place, they found it locked. So Arnav brought her to Shantivan, only to find all the Guptas there.
Both the families were delighted to see them both together, though the Guptas, except Payal, were surprised to see them arrive together.
Anjali looked at her brother, her eyes questioning him. Arnav smiled and nodded once.
"Yay!! My brother is getting married!!" All the Raizadas smiled and greeted each other, and Nani sat with dignity, giving a look to Arnav, which said, "finally!!"
Anjali teased Khushi, who was standing in between the two families along with Arnav, "So Khushi?? That day you said you'd marry our Chotey, if your parents didn't object. Now give us a proper answer."
Khushi looked at Arnav, before lowering her eyes, and nodded shyly, and Arnav felt the same elation. Yet again. "What if we object??" Shashi stood up, as he asked this. And all of them were shocked to hear that. . . . . . .

I am first... yayy..
The part was fabulous - especially the beginning. It might not be Arhi-licious but I loved it.😊 The
way Payal and Anjali teased them was cute too but why do you leave us with such cliff hangers?😕 I really truly hope Shashi is just joking about objecting..
