They messed up on the execution. They really did and as a result Geet's character got butchered.
Look bottomline is this no one complained when Maan danced with Arhana in an effort to hurt Geet...Maan did this wantedly and that was OK. But when some guy dances with Geet and Geet lets him be because she mistakes him for Maan she is called names, accused of not knowing her man and what not . Why this double standard. Why one standard for men and one for women.
Maybe this is why we are doing so badly now. The male to female child ratio is down since a decade ago.
Look if the setting had been darker and he had covered himself completely, we would have been shocked too and no one would have doubted Geet . Why are we using Geet was a punching bag when the mistake is one that the CVs made?
Imagine Geet's state of mind. She has been through hell for the past several weeks. Her husband almost got murdered, she almost got molested and then she had to see this horrific video of that guy burning himself. Anyone can be shaken after that. She was told Vickram is dead and she believes it. She also believes it when her husband says "I will give you a surprise" and if you have forgotten Maan has pulled a stunt like this before (when he shows her a slide show of themselves). Why would she smell a rat.
I asked several married friends if they could recognize their husband's touch, one of them laughed outright and said I have tapped several men who were dressed in the same color shirt as my husband on various occassions. Some girls do some girls don't. Then why are we expecting a girl who has been through hell and is looking to have some time with her husband to do the same. Is she supposed to be clairvoyant and think someone else is going to come to their farmhouse instead of her husband. And this is the most important thing. GEET TRUSTS MAAN and when Maan says you are secure, she believes she is secure and will not doubt him.
Yes she is paying the price for blindly trusting her man. See this is the problem with us atleast with respect to Geet's character doomed if you do...doomed if you don't. If she had looked around and not believed in Maan being her security there would have been another round of bashing for another reason.
Bottomline feel free to bash MP and the crew for the mess they made but please do not cast aspersions on Geet or her character. Chastity is a frame of mind it is not do you hang out with people other then your husband or let them dance with you and this is something all women need to get straight. A lot of husbands are broad minded enough to let their wives go out or travel with male associates.
I live in a place where there are a lot of Latinos and kissing on the cheek is a way of saying Hello. I have had acquaintances do it to me, people whom I have just met 😆 😆 😆. My married friend used to go ballistic at first and her husband used to laugh it off. Now both of them laugh it off. 😆
Their relationship is built on trust and honesty and so they understand each other.
By insulting Geet you are insulting the basis on which Maaneet's relationship is built. You are insulting Maan's faith in her and consequently Maan himself.
So feel free to cuss the execution. I will whole-heartedly join you but if you bash Geet's character,. I will have major issues.
