I think that he knows it .. that was the reason why he tried to nip it during the Diwali day [ Khushi is not the type to let herself get kissed by all and the sundry , it is a big step for her ] but her subsequent actions..deliberately seeking him out, provoking him, not minding when he touches her sort of reinforced that thought .. also the outburst and the subsequent garden scene does imply that he knows ..

He can only make sure that she loves him when she rationalizes the unknown relationship between them, when she gives a name to it , accepts it and reacts to it na... till now ..she is asking , "Aap humse chahathe kya hai ?"..well, Arnav is is trying to show her woh chahtha kya hai
