I just remembered this morning that the original title for IPKKND was Vaidehi and coincidentally when I logged in this afternoon I saw a similar post. But I still made this topic because I wanted to have an extensive discussion regarding this topic.
So the original title was Vaidehi which is another name for Sita. But the title was later changed to IPKKND. Now my guess from the beginning was that four-five years back there was another show with the same title so maybe that's why the title was changed. Or it could also be due to the fact that it's primarily a love story targeted for the youth, and IPKKND is a much more appealing title.
But that doesn't change the fact that Khushi, Arnav and Shyam's character can be seen as parallels for Sita, Ram and Ravan.
It's only a matter of time when Shyam is exposed. Now the issue is will Arnav and everybody else trust Khushi or doubt her character? Will Arnav mistrust Kushi? Will Anjali be just as blind and trust the evil Shyam but will Arnav trust Khushi and stand by her resulting in a rift between the bro and sis?
If Arnav doubts Khushi's innocence, will Khushi have to give an Agni Pariksha?
If Arnav trusts Khushi and goes against Anji-Shyam will he go to a vanvaas with Khushi?
Will Anjali who has always been a mother figure for Arnav turn into a parallel of Kaikeyi ( step mother of Ram) who was the reason for Ram's exile.
What role will Akash play here; will he become Lakshman and stand by his brother?
My knowledge about mythology is limited but as far as I know, Ram never truly doubted Sita. He only pretended to do so because he knew Sita won't be accepted as the queen after the abduction and he only wanted to show her innocence and purity to everyone so that she is accepted wholeheartedly.
Do you think something similar may happen here?
