An OLD PTV Classic to be remade...?

Ankahi, Ansoo, Sitara aur Mehrunnisa and Dhoop Kinarey are the kind of serials that generations have loved. These are the dramas that gave Pakistani Television its identity and were famous around the globe They were not only popular here but also wrote history in India, and Europe alike.
Earlier we reported you of India remaking one of our serials in form of "Kucch Tou Log Kahengay" on SONY Television, and now getting inspired by such amazing names, it is said that a Production House that has been churning out products at regular pace , is planning to remake one of the classic and foray into serials. The production house in question has so far produced different kind of entertainers but has yet to enter the competitive world of serials. If rumors are to be belived, then the production house is willing to do things right way and is willing to buy the rights and have an "official remake".
A spokeperson from the media house confirmed the speculation but did not give any more details. Our khabroo informs that the channel is keen on remaking a PTV classic remaining true to the story and characters. We'll keep you updated as more details are made available.
