Actors Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen together in director Vikramaditya Motwane's next outing 'Lootere', have rubbished talks of their link-up and say that they share a professional relationship. The 'Dabangg' girl had praised Ranveer and shown interest in working with him. She even went on to say on a chat show that she would love to date the 'Band Baaja Baarat' actor, which fuelled the rumours.
Also, together they had a blast at the IIFA awards this year in Toronto while performing on stage, as both gelled pretty well and were seen sharing a good chemistry. However, this was followed by reports that Sonakshi was irritated with Ranveer's over-friendly behaviour and hence started avoiding him, a thing which the actor denies. "I share an entirely professional relation with Sonakshi.I have done a photo shoot with her. We have danced together at IIFA. Whatever has been written or talked about us is perpetrated," Ranveer told reporters here last evening after the announcement of 'Phantom', a newly floated production house, whose maiden venture will be 'Lootera'.
"I don't know where these reports are coming from. May be because we are in the same territory as we debuted in the same year...you are of the same age...these things are bound to happen. But it is alright," he said. While Sonakshi said, "Yes I had praised Ranveer for his work and all. But it was all misconstrued. Besides us others are only talking about him and me. It is all part and parcel of our job and we can?t do much about it." The two will be seen romancing in Motwane?s forthcoming period love story, which will go on floors this December. "It is good that we both are working together in a film. I am looking forward to it," Sonakshi said.
Ranveer said he has also been looking forward to working with her as a co-actor for a while now, and I am really happy that it is happening. I am excited." The film, which is written and directed by Motwane is likely to release by end of next year. PTI
