Part 2:

For a moment, Arnav was so lost in the sight in front of him, the only words that were ringing in his ears were "Ma ke kangan" and he remembered how they made a tinkling sound as she placed a glass of milk on his table, when she was helping him do this home work... and during all those other times... when he played with his mother's bangles. To see them on Khushi's hands for a moment brought a smile to his face as for a moment, he felt the aura and the warmth of his mother around him...
He remembered how when he was little and she had gone off to the Market, without telling him, he had gotten really angry with her and sulked all day .. his mother had joked with him saying...
"yeh sab naatak tumhari patni ke aane tak ke hai, dekhti hoon, uske aane ke baad bhi kya tum mere aagey peeche ghoomoge..."
Arnav had sworn he would never love anyone more than his mother back then, but his mother had told him, that he should love both the women in his life equally, and that she would preserve these bangles for her bahu!!!
He walked upto her, hastily, gripping her wrists tight, trying to show anger though the proximity suddenly embarrassed him and he looked away !
"what the hell ... tumne yeh kangan kyun pehne hai ... yeh meri ma ki nishaani hai ..."

Khushi opens her mouth to explain as he raises his hand to stop her and says ... "I dont care... I dont wanna know ..."

And he forcefully removes the bangle off her hand, hurting her wrist and turning it all red! Khushi has tears in her eyes as he has used too much force on her ... But before the tear droplet could ld on his hand, Arnav is hasty enough to rush out of the room with the bangles in his hand leaving everyone totally shocked...

Anjali looks at Khushi apologetically as La is totally shocked and tries to follow ASR to console him.. Anjali talks to Khushi after them...

An: maaf keejiye ga Khushi ji ... Chote ma se bahut pyar karte the aur yeh jo bhi aaj ban gaye hai, sab maa ke jaane ke baad hi hua hai toh...

Kh: Hum samajh sakte hai Anjali ji... hum chalte hai ...

Anjali doesn't refuse this time around ...as she realises Khushi has been way too humiliated ... Khushi walks out towards the door, and remembers why she had actually come .. she turns around and makes her way towards the pool ...

In the meanwhile ...La follows ASR to the room ... Arnav holds the bangles in his hand with quick flashes of both his mother wearing them and Khushi wearing them interchangeably... he shuts his eyes to absorb wad had just happened ... he was never a man who believed in signs of any kind, but his mind was now leading him in a direction that he had been trying to run away from...

La hugs ASR from behind, and says ... "ASR ... aap please gussa mat ho ... galti meri thi... Chamkeeli ko woh kangan maine pehnaaye the ..."

Arnav doesnt say anything ...

"Mujhe nahi pata tha ke woh aunty ke kangan the aur ... mujhe laga ek shaam ki ho toh baat hai ... Chamkeeli ne mana bhi kiya tha ... "

Arnav detangles La from the hug and walks away from there and LA leaves the room disheartened...

Arnav walks towards the pool side where he see's Khushi frantically is searching for something ... He allows her to look for it for a while, and watches her worried face ... Finally he asks her...

"what the hell are you doing here ..."

Khushi looks up holding her wrist and rubbing it, as though she for the first time felt the pain he had caused her after she looked at him ... She doesnt answer him ... She goes on to look ...

"Yeh Tumhare Lucknow ka public Garden Nahi hai... jahan tum jab man marzi aakar kuch bhi kar sakti ho ... "

Kh: Agar woh humari sagai ki angoothi nahi hoti toh iss baat ka bhi jawab hum aapko zaroor dete ...

And Arnav Freezes as his head feels giddy as he registers the words "Sagai ki angoothi"

Ar: Kya kaha tumne?????

He raises his hand to show the ring he is holding in his hands and reacts ... "yeh tumhari sagai ki angoothi hai???"

Khushi looks up not so surprised to see the ring in his hands ...She gathers guts and says ... "hume toh pehle se pata hona chahiye tha ...ke..."

This taunt infuriates Arnav so much he yells back ... "who the hell do you think you are Khushi Kumari Gupta, ke tum mujhse aise baat kar rahi ho ... tumhe lagta hai, main tumhare cheeze apne paas rakhke tumhe yaad karta hoon ..." After having said that he regrets saying it, since he feels this may just give him away ...

Kh: Shayad ! (sarcastically annoyed)

Arnav walks straight upto Khushi ... about to hold her by the shoulders again as she steps back !!!

Ar: what the ... ( feeling humiliated at the thought that she thought he was trying to rough her up again) ...

Kh: Ab aap humari angoothi hume de deejiye, aur hume ghar jaana hai ...

Ar: pehle yeh batao ke yeh baat koi kyun nahi jaanta ke tumhari sagai ho gayi hai ...

Kh: Kyun? issey aapko kyun farak padta hai ...

Ar: Farak Padhta hai goddamnit ...!!! kyunki ...

He glares into her eyes as though he would break any moment, but right when you think he would tell her wad he feels ... he says ...

Ar: Actually ... nahi padta hai ... Yeh Lo Tumhari angoothi ... aur get outta here ... aur aaj ke baad agar tum iss ghar main dikhi toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga ... aur iss baar besharamo ki tarah koi aur bahana banake waapis mat aa jaana... you get that?

Khushi turns away, with uncontrollable tears in her eyes and she runs away from there ... She feels unbearable pain in her heart, but she knows she cant be around either ...

After her, Arnav turns away and shuts his eyes and tears drops trickle down his eyes ... he touches a tear a looks at it on his finge ... pauses for a moment and says ... "achha hai beh gaya ... "

Then he storms back into his room totally angry and agitated, to find the bangles lying on the bed... He holds them and stares on at them for a couple of minutes without blinking ...!!!

Khushi reaches home, wipes her tears off as she is about to enter the home ... As she gets in ... Bua ji who is reading something looks up and asks her ...

"Tum fir se un Raizado ke ghar gayi thi na Sanka Devi ???"

Khushi looks down and nods ...

Bua: Batake jaati toh kya hota?

Kh: bua ji woh...

Bua: jon bhi baat hai ... ee liyo... unko pata nahi tha, tumri sagai ho gayi hai... toh woh tumre liye kono uphaar bheje hai ...

Khushi is confused ... as she takes the small pouch from her aunt ... As Bua walks in to make chai, Khushi digs her hand into the pouch and pulls out the belongings to find the kangans in them. She is speechless!
