😃☺️RB was his own force of nature. He was suave, savvy..unflappable..never lost his head except over Scarlett! Arnav loses his cool ever so easily, and not just with Khushi. When Rhett meets Scarlett he thinks to himself,"My God.. She's just like me!" Arnav and Khushi are portrayed as opposites. Rhett mocks and taunts Scarlett at times cruelly in order to win her because he knows Scarlett scorns men she can win easily! Arnav taunts Khushi to push her away, not to win her over!Oh I can go on.. please do...you are doing it so well...😊GWTW is not my favorite classic from the romance point of view. Its more a love-hate, I could spend hours on the wonderful characterizations and the daring of not portraying the lead as a traditional "good girl". And, Oh! Mitchell's skill in the classic portrayal of sexual tension..singes the pages! Ditto...that was the charm of the book, Scarlet's utter lack of charm and complete immersion in self-preservation instincts...Ms Mitchell was successful in making that both her fatal flaw as well as reason for redemption...masterful!!! As for sexual tension, I thought it was very well conveyed in the film too...this is one film that I liked as much as the book. Normally, they fall so far short. And I so don't agree that Clark Gable has got nothing on Barun.. but that is individual opinion. Peace.A.W.E.S.O.M.E post. Always love such discussions (read as: healthy arguments)I thought there was a little bit of Heathcliff in Arnav.. his desire to punish himself and the one he loves! You'd better believe it Laali, I agree here too!!!!
Thanks for making this post ... u just made me relive my schooldays and all the characters that I had fallen in love with then :)Originally posted by: minimuffin86

Black is the new red
the dark laard has cast his spell
the more he yearns, the more cruel
this Heathcliff's story I've read
wuthering heights, rise in status
a background that has them related
'tis but a thin line between love and hatred
No escaping, a destiny that is fated
