Day 2

Gulaal was so happy to see the toy…kesar bought the toy secretly for her she immediately picked it up and squeezed it tightly and then opened the note and read it

"Gulaal beer peena sach mein injiruos hota hai phir chahe woo ladka ho yaa ladki …aur extra large beer ka baad extra large lime juice peena padega bechara angry bird kitne pyaar se kah raha hai uski baat to maan lo

and then the note disappeared

gulaal was amused she said "arey yanha kaun si chori kar rahe the joo disappearing ink se likha"

and then she thought for a second…she had come there to gather the evidence against him….her face grew stern and she took the lime water and stood near the window thinking about him

and she looked outside kesar woke up early to hit the gym…he left

and gulaal quickly kept the glass aside and went inside his room and began to search…..she was searching for the evidence she searched in every nook of the room but nothing was found….and then she heard opening of the gate she thought kesar had returned she quickly ran towards the door and kesar opened the door and they almost collided with each other…and in the process her lips slightly brushed his…..kesar was stunnet…..he stood there with his increasing breath her face was too close to his…he could feel her breath on him. gulaal froze right there her heart thudenred making her loose all her common senses…she was equally thrilled…after a pause kesar turned his face away looked in other direction and she looked at ground

kesar then looked at his room and to lighten the situation said "what the hell mere kamre ko mess kar diya

gulaal said "woo….mein….mein"

kesar looked at her and asked "heera dhundh rahi thi tumhe kya laga mein itna stupid hun ki tumhare rehte koi sabot yaa heera yanha rakhunga"

gulaal looked at him and replied irritatedly "mujhe tumpar bilkul bharosa nahi hai"

kesar said "ok bharosa mat karo chalo room saaf karo"

gulaal was amused to hear it :what mein tumhara room saaf karu noways"

kesar replied "yeh to bechare single handsome lakde k room ko mess karne se pehle sochna tha tum policewaale pehle to hum masoom logo k ghar mein search karte hai aur phir sab messup kar dete hai aur jab kuch nahi milta to thek kyu nahi karte"

gulaal said "listen u"

kesar interrupted "no u listen ab jab kuch nahi mila to waapas saari cheezo apni jagah par rakho"

gulaal said "warna tum aise hi mera sar khate rahoge"

kesar "haan"

gulaal gave a irritated look to him and said to herself "isese bakwaas karne se acha hai ki room saaf kar lu"

and she turned back and started cleaning the room

kesar folded his hand around his chest and smiled widely and then he thought for a sec and said "gulaal yeh kya aise karma saaf karogi dust kaun hateyega…daddy ne kuch bhi sikhaya tumhe"

gulaal said angrily "aur kya jhadu bhi lagau yanha"

kesar replied "oh really how sweet"

gulaal looked at him and threw the angry glare and left and murmured "uff kanha phass gayi mein"

and then she went inside the kitchen and searched for the cloth for dusting after a while she found the cloth for dusting and came back and saw kesar was sitting near the drawer she asked "kya kar rahe ho"

he looked at her and said "kuch nahi" moved out of the room in haste

after he left gulaal looked at the drawer in suspicion she went near the drawer and opened it a white rose and a choclate was present inside it with a sweet note thanks

gulaal smiled and said "so sweet"

and she started cleaning the room

she arranged his clothes and files back in the wardrobe and drawer respectively in each shelf she recived the white rose and choclate..that kesar had brought for her and her heart filled with tremendous happiness

kesar came back to peep in and saw she was smiling he smiled too standing near the door staring at her

and then gulaal found half burnt pics of her…she looked at the pics and was surprised to see it

kesar face grew stern he came near and took the pics and said in low voice"gulaal woo tumhari engagement k khabar sun kar meine tumhari pics destroy kar di thi…..pics rakhna thek nahi hota……..ab tum kisi aur ki ho….yeh akhiri rah gayi thi ise apne aap rakh lo"

and he extended his hand to give her pics

gulaal took her picture back with the deep sorrow….they both looked at each other as him complaining each other kesar coz she agreed to married dushyant and gulaal coz he returned her pics to her

he looked at her and left

gulaal wanted to stop him but couldnt…with heavy heart she resumed the cleaning again while cleaning his room a old family photo fell down from his file

gulaal pick up the pics and carefully looked at the ppl in the pics and saw a middle aged man a middle aged woman a young handsome man and beautiful girl smiling contendly giving the hint of happy and beautiful family…gulaal looked at it and smiled and said "yeh kesar k family lagti hai and pointing at middle aged woman yeh uski panba hongi…sach mein kitni pyaari family hai" and then she searched for the photoframe and placed the pics inside the photoframe and placed it near the side table

here kesar was talking to kunal…he thought something and came inside saying "woo gulaal aaj mein tumhe"

and he stopped and looked at the pics of his family gulaal smiled at him

but he was dumbfounded he had not looked at this pics since long time

immediately his childhood memories flashed in his mind

he recalled…….his family was so happy wen his father motabha had called a photographer to click the group photo…..he remembered motabha panba vasantbha and rewa was standing outside the house cheerfully and smiling waiting for kesar (10 year old boy who was busy picking imli tht had fallen from imli tree and was scattered in his verrandah in the summer days)

motabha called aloud "arey kesuda jaldi aa nahi to photu keech jayegi aur tu rah jayega"

kesar turned back and said "aa raha hun bas imli ikhata kar lu"

and he came back and saw photographer had clicked the photo

he complained "yeh kya mere bina hi photo kich waa li"

rewa teased him "haan kyuki tum humari parivaar k nahi ho hum to tujhe hospital se utha kar laaye the:

kesar became angry complained vasant "vasantbha yeh dekho rewdi mujhe chida rahi hai…isko bhaga do yanha se

vasant motabha and panba couldn't resist but laughed loudly

and he threw the tantrum and said "dekha ab sab hans rahe hain….mere saath photo nahi kichvaayi………mujhe akela chod diya koi pyaar nahi karta mujhse"

the words "mujhe akela chod diya……koi pyaar nahi karta mujhse" rang in his ears and tears fell down from his cheeks and he stared the pics without bliking his eyes…his worst childhood memories flashed simultaneously and he was at verge of emotional breakdown

gulaal was frightened to see him in this state she immediately went near him….. she put her hand on his shoulder and asked "kya hua kesar kyu ro rahe ho

he sanpped out and looked in other direction and said "kuch nahi kuch aankh mein kachra aa gaya hai mein wash karke aata hun"

and he quickly went inside the washroom gulaal followed him but he closed the door on her and broke into tears

gulaal was stunned at his behaviour

she turned and saw kunal was standing there he was cold and stern towards her

gulaal said "woo pics rakhi hui thi socha frame mein laga dun…room mein thodha change aa jaata"

kunal looked at her and said harshly "kya fayda….yeh chaardivaari yeh deeware (wall) yeh to change nahi ho sakti aur phir yeh badlaav bhi to temprorary hai kuch din mein aap chali jaayengi aur phir sab pehle jaisa ho jayega shaant or sunsaan…..to phir kyu kuch der k liye uski life mein halchal laa rahi hain"

and gave the angry glare at her clearly he wanted gulaal to say out as he had seen pain in kesar's eyes the pain that she had given to him

gulaal couldnt say anything she was sad to look the sadness in kesar's face

here revji was staring gulaal pics he was worried and missing her badly he said "gulaal mein janta hun mein tumhe pyaar nahi de paaya….gulaal police mein rethe rethe mein pyaar jatana bhul gaya mujhe pyaar jatana nahi aata par iska matlab yeh nahi ki mein tumse pyaar nahi karta….gulaal mein nahi chahta tha ki tum mere laad pyaar mein bigad jao sab yehi kehte ki bin maa k bachi ko uske papa ache sanskaar nahi de paaye isliye tumhare career k liye meine tumhe door rakha but it doesn't means that ur papa doesn't love u…par ab tum nahi ho to bahoot miss kar raha hun mein….gulaal janha bhi ho jaldi waapas aa jaana"

then dushyant entered in his cabin revji put back the photo and change his expression he asked "kya hua dushyant"

dushyant said "sir woo aapo inform karna tha humne durgesh k aadmi ko gherna shuru kar diya uski power dheere dheere khatam kar denge"

revji nodded his head and then he asked "gulaal k bare mein kuch pata chala

dushyant said nahi sir uska koi pata nahi hai"

revji said "koi baat nahi par is baat k tassali to hai k woo safe hai aur ek case mein kaam kar rahi hai"

and he walked out

but dushyant was distressed he was upset with the fact gulaal didn't called him once…her behaviour before her engagement was also suspicious that was making him restless….

It was late evening and kesar decided to take dinner outside he came out and sat in the car soon kunal came and sat too he asked "gulaal nahi aayi"

Kunal said "nahi kesar woo nahi aayi kah rahi thi tabyeet thek nahi hai uska khana pack karva de"

Kesar thought for a sec and then came out of the car and walked inside

Gulaal was sitting lonely in her bedroom the memory of the morning event was still fresh in her mind she had seen the tears in his eyes kunal had indirectly pointed her that she was the reason for his pain and agony she knew he was right but she was helpless she cant take pain away from him so wanted to maintain a distance she was sitting in the bed and kesar barged in her room and said "acha bahana hai nahi jaane ka…"

Gulaal said "kesar sach mein tabiyat kuch thek nahi hai"

Kesar said "haan pata hai akele rehna chahte ho taaki hum chale jaaye aur phir tum mera room mess kar do par memsahib baar baar apne ghar ka kachra nahi karvunga isliye ab chalo humare saath"

Gulaal said "par kesar"

Kesar extended his hand and said in soft voice "chalo gulaal mujhe acha lagega"

And she melted right away she couldn't resist to put her hand on his and he took her and they came out of the room and then they sat on the car and drove

They reached 7 star hotel of bhuj grand and lavish in its own way…they came out and walked inside the restaurant and then sat quietly in the restaurant there was pin drop silence for sometime finally kesar broke the silence and asked in jovial mood "don't worry yanha kuch gadbad nahi hai koi illegal bar nahi hai jo itni tensed beithi ho"

Gulaal squeezed a smile and then took a menu card and said "oh wow typical gujrati cuisine its soothing aur mein kuch aunthentic gujrait food order karungi"

Kesar replied "authentic food or woo bhi yanhais 7^th star restaurant mein…well kabhi bataunga tumhe ki aunthentic Gujarat kise kehte hain

Gulaal looked at his eyes and said "oh really"

He replied earnestly "yaa"

Then she looked away and soon was bored with the western music that was played at the restaurant

She said "arey yaar kitna boring music hai….aur kisko kuch bhi samajh nahi aa raha par sab enjoy kar rahe hai"

Kunal said "haan western jo hai samaj aaye yaa naa aaye aacha to lagega hi"he smiled

Gulaal said "isese acha to woo tapoori kind of music tha jo kal bar mein baj raha tha"

Kesar said "acha kuch jyada hi bar pasand aa gaya hai"

Gulaal said "nahi tapori log ache lagne lage hai kya kaare tapori aur badmassh logo k peeche bhagte bhagte woo familiar lagne lage hai tapoori log tapori gana tapori dance sab kuch"

Kesar smiled naughtily and said "tumhe tapori dance pasand hai wanna see??"

And he winked his eyes

Gulaal nodded her head in consent "y not! Par yanha kaise tapori dance hoga u see its 7 th star restuarant"

He smiled and said "wait and watch" and stood up and he took out his hanckerchief and wrapped around his wrist and then he took gulaal scarf from her neck and tied it around his neck gulaal was stunned to see him..he was looking like streetguy of Mumbai (tapori)

Kunal closed his eyes in embarrassment and said "mar gaye

He then walked towards the stage in between …and then he climbed the stage asked the singer to stop

He took the mic and said "good evening ladies gentlemen…I m sorry meine beech mein music band karva diya par kya karu meri wife ko yeh music nahi sunana she wants some peepy number and she is pregnant uski baat to manani padegi… pointing towards gulaal and gulaal was amazed….

he continued "kehta haina pyaar mein log chand tare tod sakte hain mujhe to bas ek dance ki demand poori karni hai and he looked at gulaal and said this one is for ur honey"

…..he instructed the orchestra to play the tune as per his wish…..And then he sang and dance on the song number tai tai phish phish from the movie chillar party

Gulaal was amused to see him dancing like a street guy among the elite class of bhuj…..she laughed uncontroably enjoying his performance while some were shocked some were pleasantly surprise he continued to dance a tapori dance

Gulaal soon joined him and they danced without sync without coordination but they were enjoying themselves and so were the elite and sophisticated ppl present there and as the song ended ppl cheered them and gave them standing ovation

Kunal kesar and gulaal came out of the restaurant laughing and giggling

Gulaal said "mein aur pregnant???"

Kesar said "to aur kya karta….agar aise hi stage mein tapoori dance karta to manager mujhe police mein de deta"

Gulaal giggled "par kuch bhi ho kesar tumne 7star hotel mein tapori dance kiya????? how could u…..I mean owner ko pata chalega to usko to heart attack aa jayega"

Kesar laughed and said "apun aisach hai memsahib"

Gulaal looked at him and put her arms across his neck and gave him a side hug said "oww kesar u r sweetheart"

Kesar was taken by he looked above and was trapped in her innocent eyes….her arms were around him ;she looking at him affectionately his heaven was infront of him and he was feeling blissful…he stood there long gazing her and she was looking fondly at him

but he knew it was mirage..no matter how much he yearned for it he cant get it and so he dopped his eyelids

Gulaal sensed the vulnerability in him she quietly remove her hand and looked down and then both walked quietly towards the car though their footsteps wanted to stop wanted to walk towards each other but they walked ignoring their heart and sat inside and reached home
