Hi frndz,
Having suucessfully lived the image of bad old guy of the small screen & after winning accolades , awards n recognition for the same, it appears very likely that CVs are in a mood to transform his persona into a positive one. Following observations are good indacators:
1. SS agreed to leave samar in P's custody although only after making her walk an xtra mile & take a not so realistic pledge.
2. He let GuGa leave TN & forgave ganga for the disloyalty.
3. In recent KSK-Kn confrontation he clearly supported K n gave KN a thrashing.
4. He showed only a mild resentment when P drove the desi doc (vaidya) out of TN.
5. In the last episode when SDS sought his advice regarding shakti's marriage, he repented his decision of marrying G and confesssed that it brought ignominy for his household.
6. He agrred to send samar to school despite his traditional illiterate mindset.
The changes mentioned above are very uncharacteristic of Ss we hv been knowing so far. It leaves us in little doubt that shortly we gonna see a saintly side of SS. If so happens it would amount to his safe escape from the accountability & retribution for all the sins that he has committed. But this puts CVs in a very dilemmatic situation ----- to punish SS or not? If SS is gonna punished & ends up behind bars, TRPs will definitely take a dip as an actor of anupamji's calibre will not be there to entertain us any longer. On the contrary, if SS silently transforms into a saint, they hv to justify why their epitome of idealism (read P) did not rehearse a PBJ here.
Ever pondered why we hv grown up seeing the villains & vamps persist till the very end in films? Same goes true here. Logically SS has to be punished & since we don't seee any track unfolding to this effect, we can temporarily heave a sigh of relief. At least the show is not going to end in near future (as some people hv suggested or rumoured).
But the very elusive thought is…how long he will hold the ground on this sticky wicket of MKAP where many of his colleagues are on their way back to pavillions?
