Here Gulaal was looking at him with her soft expressive eyes…he stared at her with the deep passion……..and then he touched her cheeks softly and slowly moved too close to her…… gulaal was smiling and blushing and then she heard "gulaal" and she opened her eyes and snapped out of her thought and saw kesar was looking at her with love filled eyes..
Kesar asked "kya hua kanha kho gayi thi"
gulaal rolled her eyes in amusement…….she was floating in his dreams………she always considered him enemy….many time she had stormed at him….but still her compassion stood still…..soft fire still kindle inside that confounded her..the more she pretended to hate him the more she found love shining in his vulnerable eyes and that frustrated her further…and she turned her face in desperation
Kesar looked at her and stopped the car and brought some snacks for her and said "yeh lo kha lo 5 hrs se travel kar rahe hain tumhe bhuk lagi hogi" and he extended the burger to her
Gulaal took the burger in suspicion and then smelled it to confirm weather he hadn't put anything in it
Kesar looked at her smelling the food he smiled and took the burger from her hand and ate half and then gave it back and said "lo gulaal ab kha sakti ho….waise bhi ab agar is burger mein jeher hua to marna pakka..dekho naa mein kha chukka hun ab drive karte karte mar gaya to car ka accident ho jayega aur tum bhuki hi bhagwaan ko pyaari ho jaougi better yeh k kha k maro"
Gulaal said "pata hai jyada bakwaas karna bimari hoti hai bhuj pahunch kar apna check up jaror karwa lena" and she ate the burger angrily…and then drank water and after some time dozed off
Kesar was driving the car…there was perfect silence in the car…he looked at her and studied her soft features in the shifting rays of the winter sunlight that was slowly withdrawing themseves….he looked at her….his woman was beautiful…..her beauty was unaffected by the darkness of the night that was surrounding her face slowly…..her innocence capitivated his mind instantly for him nothing matter than to admire her..she was beautiful indeed beautiful ……..then he remembered gulaal's harsh word "sach yeh ki tum jaise log humare society k kichad ho
….sach yeh hai kesar agar raaste ka kichad hum shareef logo k ghar mein pahunch jaaye to use saaf kar diya jaata hai par uuse ghar k shaan nahi banaya jaata hai"

gulaal looked at him and saw his home that was nice and cozy like his banglow in delhi
she got out of the car…..it was cold and she was shivering…kesar looked at her and gently put his jacket on her and said in low voice "chale"
she looked at him and walked together in the quiet night
he said "mein yanha par kabhi kabhi aata hun isliye naukar nahi hai kal saaf safai waale aa jayenge" while opening the lock……he opened the gate and asked gulaal to enter…but gulaal stood there
kesar switched on the light and saw gulaal was standing outside
he said "kya hua gulaal andar kyu nahi aa rahi"
gulaal said "mera kisi hotel mein room book kar do mein yanha nahi rah sakti jab waapas jaungi to paise bhejwa dungi"
kesar said "kya par kyu tum hotel mein kyu rehna chahiti ho"
gulaal said "mein tumhare saath nahi reh sakti"
kesar asked "kyu"
gulaal said "kyunki tum ek chor ho mein ek officer….mein tumhare saath hargiz nahi rah sakti"
kesar said sternly "nahi gulaal abhi iske siwai aur koi raasta nahi hai tum bhuj mein meri jimmedari ho ab yanhase tumhe safely ghar pahunchana meri jimmedari hai mein is tarah tumhe akele nahi chod sakta"
gulaal said "par"
kesar interrupted "tumhe yanhi problem haina ki mein ek chor hun thek hai jabtak tum mere saath ho mein koi bhi galat kaam nahi karunga I promise" he said honeslty
gulaal replied "par tumne us din mujhse so joo kaha tha ki tum mujse pyaar…. uske baad mein tumhare saath kaise reh sakti hun"
kesar said sternly "us baat ko bhool jaayee memsahib ek deewane k naadani samajh kar maaf kar dijeyega mujhe laga ki kichad (mud) mein kamal (lotus) khil (blossom) sakte hain par mein galat tha yankeen manayee mein aapko is bare mein pareshan nahi karunga…"
he looked at her with moist eyes and said in cracked voice "memsahib aap kisi aur ki amanat hai aur mein is baat ko samajhta hun"
his word pierced her heart and her soul cried at his harsh word but she was silent and hung her head down in desperation
meanwhile kunal came inside the house and shouted "kesar kesar woo" and he looked at gulaal he was confounded he gained himself and said "woo kesar briyani khani hai neeraj sir?"
gulaal looked at kunal and said "nice try"
and then she asked for her bedroom and then went inside the room and locked it
after she left kunal looked kesar angrily
kesar looked at him and said "dekh samjhaane de mujhe"
but kunal didn't listened and hit him and said "tu paagal ho gaya hai kya dimag kharab ho gaya hai arey ek police officer ko apne ghar le aaya aur iski engagement thi dushyant k saath abe muchad hume goli se uda dega"
kesar said "sun to le yaar mein akele hi yanha aa raha tha par raaste mein dekha ki wanha woo musibat mein thi to sirf use bachane k liye use yanha le aaya"
kunal replied "abe use to bacha lega par hume kaun bacheyaga usese..woo police cop hai yaar aur woo diamond bhi yanhi hai aur saath din baad peter aa raha hai heera lene gulaal ko yanha koi surag mil gaya to hume tere sasural k chakki peesni padegi"
kesar said "chinta mat kar kuch dekh lenge aur dekh uuse yanha renhe dete hai mat bhul kunal uusne mere jaan bachayi thi…mujhe bachane k chakkar mein to woo is durgesh k chakkar mein phass gayi…aj mein uski wajah se jee raha hun"
kunal looked at him and replied sarcastically "tu jinda kanha hai kesar" looking at his pain
kesar looked at him and brushed it off he stood and said "arey…paagal..hai…kya….aisa kuch nahi hai….kuch din k baad hai dekhna durgesh ne seedhe shootout karke dushyant aur police force se panga liya hai woo nahi chodega uuse aur phir kunal tujhe kuch bhi information durgesh k bare mein mile to tu sharma ko de dena jab durgesh inactive ho jaayega to gulaal waapas chali jaayegi"
kunal said "tu apni soch kesar tune kabhi socha hai tu kya karega kaise uska saamna karega"
kesar looked at other direction and with immense pain said "arey mera kya hai mein thek hun aur phir tune hi to kaha tha k pehle jaise hasta khelta kesar ban jaa dekhna jab tak woo mere saath rehegi mere dard ka use ehsaas hi nahi hoga…uske saamne hasta hua kesar hi rehega"
and he smiled controlling his tears in his eyes
kunal looked at his vulnerable eyes and placed his hand on his shoulder and said "itna bhi mat hasna kesar ki dard akhoon se ansoo ban kar chalak jaaye…"
kesar looked at him and broke down in tears" it hurts kunal it really hurts…and he cried "bahoot takleef hoti hai ……kyu pyaar kiya meine kyu…..it hurts kunal"
