Namrata Shirodkar is all set to have a Libran baby. The five -month pregnant actress says, "This is our first child and both Mahesh and I are not at all thinking if it's going to be a boy or a girl. All we want is a normal, healthy baby,"

Namrata who now resides in Hyderabad, is not planning to come down to her maika (mother's house) for the delivery of her first baby — as per tradition.

"Hyderabad has some excellent doctors and my mother keeps visiting me here these days. In fact, even right now, she is here with me. So why should I travel all the way to Mumbai? I would've thought about having my baby in Mumbai had it not been for the last year's 26/7 floods in Mumbai. After that coming to Mumbai in the monsoons is a scary thought."

Kya naam rakhein?

The mother-to-be has put on about 9 to 10 kg. "But I promise you that post-delivery, I'll soon get back into shape and make people say, 'Hey, you don't look like a mom'," she laughs. Namrata and Mahesh haven't thought of any names. "My husband and in-laws are very cool. They are not pestering me saying yeh khao, woh khao."

The couple hasn't even shopped for the baby. The actress says they believe it is bad luck to buy clothes for a new baby before he or she arrives.

"We also believe that infants should not wear new clothes. So my baby will be wearing the clothes that Shilpa's (sister) kids wore. Shilpa has already sent half of Anushka's (Shilpa's two-and-half year old daughter) stuff to me from London."

Is she missing Mumbai? "Well, I do come to Mumbai, once in three or four months. I definitely miss my city. But I am equally in love with Hyderabad now. I think I'll be in Mumbai, maybe in December '06 or January '07."
